Reviews for ADOPTED Leather Wrap Case for iPhone 5

I have been looking for a iPhone 5 case since day 1 of the iP5 release. Stumbling upon the ADOPTED leather case at a local Apple store. Very nice and definitely worth the price. Does not make the iP5 any thicker, which is a very unique attribute for iPhone cases. Would recommend this product for iPhone users looking for a nice, professional look.

I agree with all of the reviewers about the good feel and apparent quality of this case, but the thin plastic border between the lens and the on/off bottom is vulnerable, Mine broke off without any apparent trauma to the case within a couple days of use, leaving two points sharp enough to draw blood. I returned it.

Fantastic fit. Feels great. Love it and love the fact it's wrapped leather on the sides as well and not just the back.

First, don't be fooled by this product's name. If you imagine you're going to end up with a supple leather-wrapped iPhone, forget it. This case snaps onto your phone, adding bulk (a thin layer of leather molded to a plastic shell) without fully covering your phone's edges all the way up to the surface of the screen. If you're like me, you may have dropped your new device before getting a case only to discover it needs more protection than previous iPhones to avoid dings; fully covered edges are a must and this case doesn't do it!

Second, the workmanship is not great -- certainly not what one would expect of a case at this price point.

Light weight and classy. Perfect if you are looking for a case with some sophistication. Definitely pricey but I'm satisfied with my purchase.

This is a great snap on case. It has a minimalistic design that doesn't take away from the design and finish of the iPhone. It has little or no lay on the table design. The top and bottom of the phone are exposed. I'm pretty sure the phone will not survive a higher drop (i.e. from ear level), but then again this phone is about minimal protection. In my opinion 50 bucks is a little high for what you get (plastic case wrapped in leather). I think these will fly off the shelf at about $34.99 -$39.99.

This is really a very nice case. Sleek and low profile, not bulky at all. Also personally I don't like cases that have their logo plastered on them; on this one the "Adopted" name is almost invisibly printed on the side, not the back. Phone fits well in it and was easy to put on. It's not especially rugged and I can't speak for it's toughness but if you're looking for a case with style to match the phone, this is it.

If you can afford it....go for it! I'm a very picky person...with that being said! I highly recommended! Classy and professional look for your iphone 5 is well worth it!!! Totes! Loving it!

No wonder Apple Stores are carrying these ADOPTED cases as the first available. They are excellent. This Leather model is almost too good. Fit, form, and function. Gorgeous. Feels great in your hands as well. Snaps in easily but fits very securely... and is simple to remove.
You won't be disappointed. Very Classy!!!
