I received two nest thermostats for Christmas and they are incredible devices. Simple to install, easy to configure, and has saved us $$$. After the first couple of weeks learning our active household schedule we haven't touched the thermostat = it just works!!! The clean simple aesthetics look amazing in the house and everyone that walks in wants to know everything about them.

Buy these, you will not regret it one moment...

I recently installed 3 of these and love the simplicity and ease of use. The design is very cool- not a surprise since this company CEO is Tony Fadell - the man who was largely responsible for the original iPod design. Took a little work to connect properly as 2 of my locations needed a common wire which I had to also connect at the HVAC control panel up in the attic. Easy to do but took an extra 15 minutes. Now that they are up and running they operate flawlessly. I love being able to control from my iPhone/iPad as my wife and I travel often and can easily control our HVAC system if we want to cool/heat our home before we return home.

I am saving so much I am going to order sliding doors that will save me more money!!

The Nest thermostat (generation 2) installs easily, following excellent directions. It works as promised, resulting in a truly beautiful and modern approach to maintaining temperature economically.

At last I can have control of the thermostat wherever in the galaxy.

This Thermostat is beyond anything that I have seen. It has already saved me money on my heating for this winter. I would recommend it to any to buy!

What's so incredible about the Nest is that it's so easy to install and use. Like first learning to use an Apple product, everything works so smoothly that you feel that you're missing something. At the same time, you wonder why all the other thermostat companies (Honeywell, Johnson, GE, etc etc) have never been able to even come close to this level of efficiency and performance. After the Nest thermostats will never be the same.

Anyway, I never thought that controlling a furnace could be so fun. With your Nest account and an iPhone app you can control your home climate from anywhere.

We absolutely love the nest thermostat but its too bad it took so long to come to the Canadian App Store. It has already learned our temperature likes and times and the ability to remotely change and monitor temperatures is amazing, plus it looks very cool. A must have!

I was amazed at the thought and expense that went into the packaging of this product, even a fancy screwdriver set with interchangeable heads. It almost looks like an Apple product.
The installation was dead easy, complete with colored stickers you wrap around the original wall wires so you don't get confused.
The unit worked straight away after I figured out how the programing works.
Looks great, works well, and we have no issues with it.
Highly recommended.
