Before Tech21 was even in Apple Stores, I purchased the impact case for my iPhone 4 several months ago. It has a great feel in your hand, fits the phone well, and the phone remains intact (good protection). Then I got an iPhone 5, gave my case to my dad, and bought 2 more (one for my mom). The iPhone 5 case is even better. It is slimmer and offers the same protection. The only weakness is on the bottom where material becomes thin to allow access across the speaker, lightning port, and headphone port. However, it doesn't harm the structural integrity of the case because the corners are strong. I would recommend to anyone.

This case is amazing and exactly what I needed. After having an Otterbox for a while, I got tired of the bulk and look and wanted something to protect my iPhone 5 while retaining the sleek look of the phone. This case is perfect for my black iPhone 5 and barely adds any thickness. I have dropped it a few time and it just bounces and gently lends. The D30 technology is used in the military so you now its good. I tried the clear and the smoke colors and decided the smoke looks much better with a black phone.

I tried several different cases out on my iPhone 5 and none of them even came close to this one. The case itself is sexy and stylish. It goes in and out of my pocket very easily which is one of my biggest pet peeves with other cases, yet it is still provides excellent grip. It doesn't make my phone feel HEAVY like a lot of the other cases that are made for absorbing the impact of a drop. Usually you have to sacrifice one or the other but with this case you get the best of both worlds. I would recommend this case to anyone with an iPhone.

Sleek, attractive, nice to hold, fits well, and offers good phone protection without adding bulk or extra weight to the phone. There is a lot to like about this one!

This case is sleek, yet protective from damage due to drops. It's grippy on surfaces, yet slides out of the pocket easily.

I've been an Otter Commuter user for years, but the low profile of this case barely rises above the level of the iPhone screen.

The opening by the camera lens is flat though so I can take my pulse with my HeartRate app.

It adds a couple of mm on all sides of the phone, but just a tad bit of thickness.

There could be a few more colors, but the functionality is the best.

When I first purchased my phone I got an OtterBox defender. Very protective case, but adds too much bulk for daily use for my taste.

The Impact Mesh case from Tech21 is very nice. It adds very little bulk and seems like it will provide good protection from minor mishaps. Not as slippery as carrying the phone 'naked', but almost as light. Fits extremely well.

This is a nice case compared to the average rubber cover. In fact, it's not just a single piece of rubber, there are hard plastic buttons molded into the rubbery shell that reach through the shell to push your phone's buttons, but there is something just a little bit wrong with the fit. It does wrap around the front edges of the phone and definitely stays on, but I constantly feel like wrapping around a little more to seat it onto the phone for a better fit. When I pick it back up, it has kind of "slid" back around to the back a tiny bit. It's almost like the back panel is a millimeter too narrow. Colder temperatures make this much worse. I'm knocking one star for the fit, a half-star for the hard presses it takes to activate the volume buttons when the cover is cool (not cold), and another half-star for the price. $20 seems much more fair for this product. If the rating had half-star increments I would take one half star more for the thin strip of protection along the bottom-front that really seems to possibly be the weakest feature and will probably break before the rest of the case wears out. I'm much more impressed with my Android's Speck case.

First of all - I love this case! I'm very picky when it comes to cases, and I absolutely can *not* go without having one. My biggest issue with cases however, is the ones that interfere with my screen protector. (Which is also a MUST for me.) I have the iPhone 5, and am using the Power Support HD Anti-Glare Film for iPhone 5 - which is also - IMHO - the best screen protector for the retina display. So clear! The Tech21 Impact Mesh Case is perfect for the iPhone because it seems to be very precision cut. The edeges of the case go right to the edge of the screen protector, without causing it to bubble or peel, which drives me crazy. It's tough finding a durable case that's light, sleek, durable, non-bulky AND won't mess up your screen protector. Trust me, you want this case! :)

Great protection with a slim profile and easy to grip. Good color match for the black phone. Would definitely recommend.

I've looked for a case like this since I first purchased the 5. It's slim, yet protective with the D30 technology inside the case. It feels great in my hand. Not too slick or "grippy." It actually makes the iPhone feel more solid, if that's possible. On top of the aforementioned items, it looks great! I love this case!!
