I ordered this case because it seemed to have the best reviews, consistently. It seems solid and if the hype is to be believed, it will protect my phone against falls. Pros: attractive; not too bulky (I like the streamlined case-less look); easy to put on and take off; allows access to all buttons. Cons: didn't realize that the charcoal color actually has orange on it too, and I'm not a huge fan of the two-tone look; not "grippy" and feels more like smooth plastic than rubber (this is a taste thing as well); doesn't come up as high on the edges so I am worried that it won't do much for the screen, if it comes to that *knock on wood*.

Buying this case... I was eying it for a while. Finally decided to give it a try and I love it! Very visually appealing with my black iPhone 5. Feels like a very good fit. I'm also very happy with the balance of protection and style, it offers fantastic protection while keeping the device sleek and comfortable to handle. I highly recommend this case.

Sleek, attractive, nice to hold, fits well, and offers good phone protection without adding bulk or extra weight to the phone. There is a lot to like about this one!

I had the same fit issue as an earlier reviewer. It seems sometimes when I take my phone out of my pocket the top corners peel back a bit. Not all the way but enough where you need to push it back with your thumb. Other than that it is a nice case

The case adds to the appearance of the iPhone. I wish cases weren't necessary but I live in a reality based world where I sometimes drop my phone. It has a snug fit and works well. Buttons are a tad stiff but I prefer that to buttons that depress too easily. It feels great in your hands too. Not too hard, not too soft. I will recommend this case to friends.

I love this case. It's sleek and slips into my purse without a wrestle while also providing just the right amount of grip to stay in my hand and still reach all the phone's features. I went to the apple store seeking a difference case altogether (one with a [superficial] design and color that I fell in love with online). But when I compared the two, this one seemed it would be the most prudent choice given its [amazing, tried and true] impact-absorbing feature (why purchase a sturdy case if it won't actually protect your phone?). At first I didn't like the color at all, and, in full disclosure, since this purchase was for my first smart phone / iPhone 5, I wasn’t happy about feeling the need to purchase a case since part of this new fancy phone experience was that so much could be packed into something so inherently sleek, but now I really love how it looks too. So, why not five stars? I doubt there’s a case out there that would receive a fifth star as I am suspicious that the extra casing around the microphone area disturbs voice clarity (if I determine otherwise and the option is available, I will revise this review). More about me: I’ve owned the phone for about two months, and I’ve owned the case for about 6 weeks.

When I first purchased my phone I got an OtterBox defender. Very protective case, but adds too much bulk for daily use for my taste.

The Impact Mesh case from Tech21 is very nice. It adds very little bulk and seems like it will provide good protection from minor mishaps. Not as slippery as carrying the phone 'naked', but almost as light. Fits extremely well.

Wouldnt recommend this for anyone id return it but im not paying to ship it back, doesnt even fit the phone correctly, it ripped from front zagg screen protector off on the edge, buttons arent easily pressed on sides, just a horrible design, too bulky

I tried several cases for my iPhone 5 before choosing the Tech21 Impact Mesh. The case adds virtually no bulk or weight to the iPhone, yet provides very good protection to the corners, edges, and back. The bezel side is slightly raised so you can set the phone face down without scratching on a flat surface. The bezel edges don't extend too far into the phone face, so the case works well with full-sized screen protectors (I'm using the Tech Armor HD; forget the "case-friendly" Zagg protector, which leaves too much of your screen unprotected).

The T30 material is remarkable. I've never seen anything like it. It's glossy smooth and translucent, yet still grippy, yet slides easily in and out of my pocket. It's very hard to scratch, and it doesn't hold fingerprints or smudges. I think it looks elegant and high-tech at the same time, and I've gotten numerous compliments on how "classy" my phone looks. The truest testament is that my wife now wants one for her phone!

The only downside to the case is that the bottom front strip, just below the Home button, is perhaps a little too flexible and unsupported. Having said that, the design does leave the grates and ports on the bottom edge available for all manner of accessories, while the corner bumpers, back edge, and what's there on the front edge provide, I think sufficient protection. The material itself is so strong that I don't think it's really a problem.

I bought this case 2 months back, it has a real good fell to it.
Only you have to keep cleaning it a little bit since there are chances it becomes a little slippery with sweat etc...
Besides that it a super buy!
