    Pretty Good

    • Written by from Honolulu

I had this case on my black iPhone 4 and it broke after I dropped it about 3 times. I have this for my white iPhone 5 and it looks really nice on it. Looks better on a white iPhone than on a black iPhone. Adds a very small amount of weight on the phone. Overall, this is a good case if you want to see the actual iPhone and don't drop it a lot.

    Love it

    • Written by from Watauga

I also have this case for my iPhone 4, which I drop frequently - mostly on carpet, but the occasional hard wood, tile and even on the pavement a couple of times. All with no problems.

I also fidget and snap it on and off repeatedly and it has never lost its shape or rigidity. I love the style and design, I do however agree about the white over black. A black phone shows more dust in between your sleek phone and clear cover.

    best case for iphone 5

    • Written by from GLENDALE

I had the same case for my iPhone 4 for over a year, and ordered it for the 5 through incase before the apple store carried it. For those that prefer the minimalist cases, this is easily the best: it doesn't take away from the contour of the phone while protecting it. It also has a great grip to it to keep it from slipping out of your hands.

I've dropped my phone with this case on it several times, and the phone and the case were unfazed. My favorite thing about it though is the slight recess in the case on the front: it's raised in the front just enough so you can put it face down on a surface. For guys - it slides in and out of your pocket easily and doesn't get stuck in your plans like many rubber cases. Overall, easily the best iPhone5 case out there.

    Great Case

    • Written by from Houston

This is a great case and all of InCase's are great cases. My fiancé suggested this to me after I said I didn't want a case but after purchasing it I found it was very slick and clean and kept the look of the phone. I don't like cases that much because I like the I want people to see I pulling a great device out of my pocket ( I know petty) but this case still looks good.

Highly recommend this case to anyone with a iPhone 5!

Good case, but for you could get much more protection for a little more $

    • Written by from Washington

I have both the Incase Snap Case in clear and the Speck Candyshell case in Pink for the iPhone 5. The Speck Candyshell case costs roughly $6 more (let's be honest: both are rip offs) but offers much, much more protection because of the rubberized interior.

The Incase Snap Case offers slightly more protection than those cases that you can get for less than $5, but it has a few perks. The plastic is thicker and the case does rise slightly over the front of the phone to protect the screen from falls and dings. And, it does show off the phone, which is beautiful. It slides in and out of pockets and handbags easily. In sum, the Snap Case is a good case for those who do not drop their phones with great frequency.

    Great basic protection, Great Looks

    • Written by from Little Rock

From the start, let me say this case does not provide the end all, be all level of protection. It does, however, provide basic protection to the phone, prevents the back from getting scratched, and best of all, does not hide the great design of the phone. It is a great fit and does not add bulk to the phone. From the front, it looks like it is part of the phone- and from the back, the cut-out for the camera is the only thing that lets you know it's a case and not a design factor of the phone. The hard shell let's the phone slide easily in and out of my pocket. And it just looks good on the phone. This is a definite buy.

Inferior frosting used as compared to frosted Snap case for iPhone 4/4S

    • Written by from New York

I liked the frosted version of this case that I used for a few years with my iPhone 4S, so I bought the iPhone 5 version of this case when I upgraded my phone. I liked the "grippiness" of the frosting on the 4S case. It was grippy enough to hold confidently but not so grippy as to make it awkward to get the phone out of my pocket.

The frosting on the iPhone 5 version of this case not the same frosting Incase used on iPhone 4/4S case. The new frosting is like Teflon; it actually makes the phone feel slippery, even more so than the non-frosted cases. My phone keeps flying out of hands. I'm returning this case to Apple.

I just ordered a leather Snap case directly from Incase's website. I'm hoping that it's "appropriately grippy".

I had this case for less then one month and the edges of the case started to break. For $30, I was hoping that can protect my phone better than that!

I had the same case for my iPhone 4 and I was waiting all long to get the same for my iPhone 5 (White). I tried a few but was not happy about them as the other cases were keeping the great look of the White iphones back out of view. This one on the other hand portrays the White iPhone 5s back clearly and I love it. A couple of my friends who have the White iPhone 5s also bought after looking at mine.

The case for people who don't want a case

    • Written by from Scottsdale

This case is sturdy, and confidently 'snaps' on just like its name. For those who want to enjoy the design and look of their iPhone 5s while protecting it, this is a great case. The edges are smooth and the design allows full access to all the buttons and jacks.

    Didn't protect!

    • Written by

I already had issues with this case when I realized every time I had the case on, people couldn't hear me as well. I wasn't using the case for a while since no one heard me. I finally decided to put the case back on, just my luck, my phone falls out of my purse and glass of my iphone 5 shatters onto the kitchen tile! So people couldn't hear me and it didn't protect my phone.

    Gorgeous case, but...

    • Written by from Turlock

I bought this case about 2 weeks ago, I got what I was expecting, it is a gorgeous case that compliments the iPhone 5's new design very well! The case is very light weight, but still noticably heavier with the case on the iPhone, rather than not on. The case has generous openings for all the ports and buttons, you don't have to take off the case to place it on a deck or anything such like that. I truly only have 2 complaints about this case. 1. the case scratches very easily, somehow i've managed to scratch it a couple of times in only 2 weeks! 2. As for protection, I dought this case will save your iPhone 5 on a hard drop on the concrete, it is mainly for its looks! Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, at such a great price!

Looks great but did not fit properly. :(

    • Written by from Columbia

I had one corner that would bend away/back slightly. Looks great however, failed to fit properly. And you buy a case for it to fit properly. I immediately exchanged this case for the ADOPTED version. Check out ADOPTED brand of cases before making a purchase.

    Beautiful but unreliable.

    • Written by from Portland

I bought the clear snap Incase for my iPhone 5. I will admit I love the look, it is sleek and keeps the bottom from scratching. However, I accidentally dropped my phone a few feet, the case provided zero protection, and my phone screen shattered. I had to pay $150 to get the screen replaced in addition to $30 for a new, more reliable case. I give it two stars instead of one only because the case looks very nice, but be warned: if you want to buy this case, plan on never dropping your phone.

    great look and good function!

    • Written by from Arlington

I looked at both the clear incase and the adopted, and i think the incase fits the phone better, is a better design, and also looks better. i've had the case for about 4 months and have had 2 big drops and my phone is intact and working great! the first big drop cracked the corner of the case and the second big drop broke the corner off. I am replacing the case since now part of my phone is exposed. Although the case broke, it did a great job of protecting my phone and I think the clear streamlined design is worth the trade off for not being quite as durable as others. The case functions great and I highly recommend for showing off the white iPhone! I will purchase again.

Looks beautiful, fits well, feels great.

    • Written by from Toronto

I got the clear Snap Case for my white iPhone 5. I think the iPhone design on its own is beautiful and wanted a case that wouldn't hide or interfere with it: something well made, sleek, clear, clean lines, with no ugly neon colours, not bulky, but also offer some basic scratch/bump protection. This case is exactly what I wanted: it looks amazing (especially nice with the white iPhone), fits well, feels great in the hand. Despite being smooth plastic with only a thin lip at the front, it seems to offer just enough grip. Have heard some say it is not as protective as other cases for drops, but typically I'm pretty careful with my iPhone. We'll see, but so far so good. At $29.99 in the Canadian Apple Store, it's a reasonable price (compared to many designer cases).

I had an fairly sleek 2-piece hard plastic Incase case on my old iPhone3 and really liked it, and even without the rubber edges it protected against small drops (the case cracked a bit, but the iPhone was fine) so hope this one will be just as great as the last one.

    So Far, So Good

    • Written by from Elk Grove

I bought my case in the Apple store and after opening the packaging, I noticed a small scratch on the inside of the case. I took it back and Apple happily exchanged it. I am nervous now though that this case may scratch very easily. I've had clear cases in the past and after a few months, they became cloudy with scratches. I have been extra careful with this case so far. I've had it a week and so far, so good. It's kind of like your brand new car and I'm sure I'll be fine after I get over the first scratch. I have also noticed a small "bubble" in the edge of my case, which is a little annoying, but barely noticeable. I suggest getting this at the store and taking it out of the packaging to inspect it before you buy!

I was a little disappointed that Incase hasn't created (that I know of) a case that has a "softer/rubbery" feeling texture for the iPhone 5. I had one for my iPhone 4 and LOVED it. Not crazy about the "sleek/hard" feeling case, but love how it shows off the iPhone 5's great look. It fits the phone like a glove and protects it from the elements.

    Fragile and offers no protection

    • Written by from Shawnee

I've always used cases as a sort of insurance policy to protect against the occasional mishap and I've never broken a screen going all the way back to the original iPhone. I was in a movie theater and this slick sided case allowed my phone to slideout of my pocket. At a distance less than 2' my phone screen cracked right up the middle.

To top it off, the case fills with dust and because it's clear, you appear to have a dirty phone. I can't recommend that you stay away from this case enough. Do not buy this case.
