I looked at both the clear incase and the adopted, and i think the incase fits the phone better, is a better design, and also looks better. i've had the case for about 4 months and have had 2 big drops and my phone is intact and working great! the first big drop cracked the corner of the case and the second big drop broke the corner off. I am replacing the case since now part of my phone is exposed. Although the case broke, it did a great job of protecting my phone and I think the clear streamlined design is worth the trade off for not being quite as durable as others. The case functions great and I highly recommend for showing off the white iPhone! I will purchase again.

I had this case for less then one month and the edges of the case started to break. For $30, I was hoping that can protect my phone better than that!

I had one corner that would bend away/back slightly. Looks great however, failed to fit properly. And you buy a case for it to fit properly. I immediately exchanged this case for the ADOPTED version. Check out ADOPTED brand of cases before making a purchase.

I have both the Incase Snap Case in clear and the Speck Candyshell case in Pink for the iPhone 5. The Speck Candyshell case costs roughly $6 more (let's be honest: both are rip offs) but offers much, much more protection because of the rubberized interior.

The Incase Snap Case offers slightly more protection than those cases that you can get for less than $5, but it has a few perks. The plastic is thicker and the case does rise slightly over the front of the phone to protect the screen from falls and dings. And, it does show off the phone, which is beautiful. It slides in and out of pockets and handbags easily. In sum, the Snap Case is a good case for those who do not drop their phones with great frequency.

From the start, let me say this case does not provide the end all, be all level of protection. It does, however, provide basic protection to the phone, prevents the back from getting scratched, and best of all, does not hide the great design of the phone. It is a great fit and does not add bulk to the phone. From the front, it looks like it is part of the phone- and from the back, the cut-out for the camera is the only thing that lets you know it's a case and not a design factor of the phone. The hard shell let's the phone slide easily in and out of my pocket. And it just looks good on the phone. This is a definite buy.

I had the same case for my iPhone 4 for over a year, and ordered it for the 5 through incase before the apple store carried it. For those that prefer the minimalist cases, this is easily the best: it doesn't take away from the contour of the phone while protecting it. It also has a great grip to it to keep it from slipping out of your hands.

I've dropped my phone with this case on it several times, and the phone and the case were unfazed. My favorite thing about it though is the slight recess in the case on the front: it's raised in the front just enough so you can put it face down on a surface. For guys - it slides in and out of your pocket easily and doesn't get stuck in your plans like many rubber cases. Overall, easily the best iPhone5 case out there.

I also have this case for my iPhone 4, which I drop frequently - mostly on carpet, but the occasional hard wood, tile and even on the pavement a couple of times. All with no problems.

I also fidget and snap it on and off repeatedly and it has never lost its shape or rigidity. I love the style and design, I do however agree about the white over black. A black phone shows more dust in between your sleek phone and clear cover.
