I have had an UP band since Nov 2012.
I have been through 5 of them.
    2 charging issues.
    1 syncing issue
    1 button jammed issue
    1 sizing issue

When I contacted JawBone about my last bands charging issue they sent me a replacement band. The replacement band was previously owned by someone else and it was in a poorer physical state than the Band it was replacing.
Yes the App interface is great and the concept is Novel. But the life span of the Product is NOT worth $129.00.

I chose the up band instead of the nike fuel band because of the extra features it offers. I loved it, absolutely loved my UP band but within 3 weeks it stopped charging out of nowhere. Since Apple return policy is only 2 weeks it was too late for me to get a full refund. I dealt with the manufacturer and I must say their customer service is 5 stars, no complaints! they sent me a brand new band and what do you know? broken from the start, it doesn't hold a charge. I'm getting a new one mailed again and this time i plan on selling the new one and i will be purchasing the nike fuel.
I mostly regret that at first I was recommending this product to everyone and two of my friends also bought it (they ended up returning them within the 2 weeks) DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was this useful? Cool concept BUT don't waste your $130

I wasn't able to use this to keep track of my running records. It only measure things with vague descriptions that post my mood as 'supercharged' or 'ok'.

Any time it was measuring a workout it only made petty records of my workout and no real calorie burn count. The walking measurements were also off.

And good luck trying to save the cap to the armband from falling. Mine came off and now I'm stuck with the product unable to return it to the apple store.
