I have used the hipKey for a week now and it really works for me.

The App is very straight forward and easy to change settings and distance

In the beginning I have spent some time getting things just right for me

Can't wait to try out the child-mode next time I'm going to Disneyworld

I'm a very busy person and often I forget things but with the hipKey I will never forget my iPhone or my keys again - Love it !

What a super nice product.

I like the sales pack. It is very informative and allowed me to see it before opening the package. It has a magnetic closure. The box itself can be used for other storage purposes afterwards.

The quick-guide is easy to understand and when following the guidelines, it more or less paired itself to my iPhone. I like that because this is often the difficult part. hipkey has been connected ever since. When disconnected after getting out of range it will quickly re-connect when within sight. I tried it after 24 hours, and it still re-connected. This is really good to know when you one day are looking for something.

My wife tried the movement alarm on our sleeping baby, when she visited some friends last weekend for coffee. She got an alarm on her iPhone seconds after our baby started moving. The movement sensor is quite accurate.

The App is a bit trivial but easy to use and setup. I have found that long distance works best for my usage. Medium and especially Short distance is often not enough. The safezone feature is really well thought through. Without it at home or in my office I would get frustrated. Imaging going down for a coffee and getting alarms because I didn't bring my house keys with me? Safezone takes care of that, and it actually works without human interaction after setting it up. This is unique. Love it.

I am lacking more specific product information on the company website. I hope the hippih guys will have that sorted asap.

The look and feel of this device says it all: High quality and great design. I am impressed with the range and have been saved on a couple of occasions. I have already thought of fun and innovative uses for my hipKey and it follows me everywhere! The set-up was as easy to figure out as an Apple app should be. Enjoy the motion sensor and be prepared for an audible alarm that works.

I cannot say I have had any problems with my hipKey. I love it !!!

Bluetooth is known for its limitations on distance, but I find this device actually does quite well. A quick test outdoor showed I could get more than 164 feet away before the alarm occurred. I tested this with both my new iPhone5 and old iPhone4S. Almost same distance.

Indoor is different. The Long distance setting is in my house reduced to less than half the outdoor distance. This is expected when dealing with Bluetooth. The hipkey has a smart solution to the problem, which is safe-zone. With safe-zone the problems with shorter max distance are removed. I don't get any false alarms, and when I want to find my iPhone, hipkey will quick connect to the 'hidden' phone, once it is within reach. Very convenient.

As a test I have been 'leaving' my house without my iPhone a few times just to see what happens. When picking up hipkey it gives a few beep's (not the alarm sound) every time. Not sure if this is intended but it works as a reminder to me that hipkey is not connected to iPhone when leaving my house. If this is indeed intended, I find this very innovative and useful.

The max hipKey sound loudness is not great. I can imagine that I would not hear it in a noisy area. but then I do find the vibrator useful when carried in my jeans.

The app itself is very easy to use and figure out in the beginning. After 5 minutes I had figured out all the basics. I like the wheel, and the way the App is maneuvered with one hand only. The app is very clean, which is nice.

hipKey itself is super nice. It looks and feels great. Real quality feel all through. The hanger is a bit cheap but I was going to use my own lanyard anyway. Probably most people will do the same anyway, so not a big issue.

All in all I am very satisfied and so far use my hipkey every day.

My new friend for life .. is probably an overstatement but nevertheless this is how I feel for hipkey today. It is very nicely designed and has a great feel to it. One thing I think is very well considered is the protected buttons inside of the 'circle'. Imagine the false button presses, if the keys had been on the outer surface, whenever it is placed in a pocket?

The App was easy to download and connect to hipKey and I appreciate the user interface for its ease of use and simplicity. It took me less than 5 minutes to understand how it is setup and operates.

The Bluetooth distance is not super long indoor but better than what I have seen on wireless headsets previously. It easily reaches from one room to another. Here the safezone feature comes to play. It is super handy. I have made one safezone in my Office and one at Home. Now hipKey automatically detects, when I am at one of these places, and it lets me move freely here without any alarms even if the two devices disconnects!!

I miss that the App doesn't allow volume alarms when my iPhone is muted. I would also like hipkey to be able to connect to both my iPhone and iPad at the same time.

Ready, set, go in less than 1 minutes. Great App to make it happen so smoothly.

I love the design and the features. I use motion mode to watch my computer bag with Apple products when visiting clients and alarm mode when I am moving around.

Usage is better than expected. Much longer alarm distance than all other similar devices I have come across.

The team behind hipkey is very supportive. I submitted my question on their web and next day was called up by someone from the organisation. Problem was resolved within 5 minutes and I could move on. I encourage others to do the same.

I have used it every day since I got it, and haven't had any issues with this device at all.

Be prepared to use hipKey a few days to learn how to use it in the right way. I did. After that there is no point of return. It is absolutely great and the consumer promise 100% fulfilled.

At first I got a few false alarms but I quickly learned to set alarm distance to medium or long (best result) and then setup safe zone's, which is an excellent feature. If you don't already use safe zones, then do so as it is an important feature for the overall experience. I also learned not to carry hipkey or iPhone tightly enclosed to the body. Bluetooth is not well suited for that in general and the result can be a degrease of max connection distance between iPhone and hipKey.



I normally do not loose my things but it happened one week ago that my iPhone slipped out of my pocket while sitting on the back seat in a yellow cab. When leaving the cab, my phone was still on the back seat. Luckily hipkey warned me and I could run to stop the cab and immediately get my iPhone back. So happy with hipKey that day! Another observation with hipKey is that after carrying it, I have become more aware about not leaving any of my valuables behind where ever I am. This it in self is really beneficial.

Finally this morning I downloaded the new hipKey app and found it now overrules the mute button. My one complaint has now disappeared.

Great work hipKey team. I'd recommend hipKey to everyone I know.

I got hipkey to make it find my keys for me. I can never find them and get confused if I have them with me after closing and auto-locking the door. It has happened more times I have had to spend 100$ to have my front door opened by a locksmith. This is more than what I spent on one hipKey !

Hipkey does not have to have other features enabled at the same time as Find-Me. This is exactly what I wanted.

The battery is great. So far after three weeks I still haven't had to charge it.

I was very excited to get hipKey and was one if the first people in the U.S. to order and get hipKey. Unfortunately, the product is entirely unusable and is being retuned immediately.

Specifically, after first causing my iPhone 5 to reboot (ok, one malfunction is not a deal-breaker), hipKey then keeps sounding the alarm, even though it and my iPhone are in the same room or are just one room apart! And, yes, this keeps happening -- and I and my family keep getting woken up during the course of the night -- even with our having (A) changed the hipKey alarm setting to wide range and (B) set up a hipKey "Safe Zone" around our home.

So, our excited expectation for hipKey is now complete disappointment and the product is being returned immediately. :(
