    Great idea, but not accurate at all

    This product initially appealed to me because it works on bluetooth and can also work in an offline mode. I used the device daily for a week and compared it with both my doctor's readings and another wrist monitor that I have. Readings were consistently high. I wrote to iHealth to find out if it was a software defect and they recommended that I exchange the device. Well, I did that today and now readings are even higher. For those of us who are regularly monitoring BP we rely on an accurate device. I am surprised this device has passed FDA standards because the readings are so inaccurate. I will be returning this device and would encourage anyone looking at this device to look elsewhere because with such inaccurate readings, this cannot be used to monitor hypertension.

    I am a physician. Had high hopes for this device but after trying it for 2 weeks and comparing found it routinely calculated the diastolic reading too high. Actually I had a medicine change because of this device. Later found out it was completely inaccurate. Tried it on 6 teenagers for fun, and if we are to believe the readings all of them would be put on medicine.
    This is a dangerous device and in no way would I recommend it. Later I found out from a nephrologist that this particular device is infamous for misleading patients.

    I would not recommend this product

    I found this this device is very inaccurate, I followed the directions and compared it with my doctors in-office device and the numbers signifiganly different. I attempted to contact iHealth 4 times during their regular busines hours to no avail, after hearing the lenghty recoreded message and pressing 1 to speak with support I was disconnected on each attempt. Lastly, no where in the directions or manual does it tell you to download a "new" app to sync the data and use the device I had to research it on my own. If you want to try this product this is the app you need to use: iHeath MyVitals

    Not Accurate

    I used this product for a week and was worried about my high BP. I saw my doctor and we tested it three times in her office. My doctor took my BP and it was 132/83, but the iHealth consistently said 145/101. My doctor said take it back or depending on my frustration level....throw it away! I have a friend with the wireless blutooth bicep BP cuff from iHealth, and my BP is normal on his.

    Save your money

    I purchased this BPM to have an easier way to log my daily blood pressure readings. The interface to the IPhone works fine and is wasy to master. The problem is that the monitor itself is wildly inaccurate. I have a large old school manual tester that I have checked it against and this wrist monitor always gives consistently higher readings (much higher).

    Unless you want to terrify yourself, save your money and buy something more conventional. I really liked the product concept but an inaccurate monitor is really useless.

    If you do care about your health and you do need ACCURATE readings on your BP, do not buy this product. It never N-E-V-E-R has provided accurate results. I tried on multiple persons. Always wrong. For info, at 240/170 you're dead ! Those were readings I could get sometime. I returned it.

    I am planning to return it back as the readings always high compare to another biceps device which I have from Boots. My suggestion before you buy it try it in the store and compare it with another device that you know it gives accurate reading.

    I bought this product thinking it would be great to use, in conjunction with an exercise regime, to monitor BP changes over time. Huge disappointment because the device gives consistently high (very high) readings. Falsely thinking that with enough complaints, something to correct the problem either through software or replacement devices would come along, and, I did not return the unit (I live 3 hours away from the store) and tend to be optimistic. Now ... I am stuck with a useless BP wrist cuff! I wish there was a fix.

    Does not work on left wrist

    I have a medical condition that does not allow me to use product on my left wrist (product's "App" requires usage ONLY on left wrist).

    Nowhere in specifications for the product nor on set up instructions does product state you cannot use in right wrist.

    Don't purchase if you are medically required to use on right wrist.

    I purchased direct from ihealth so I hope I can return. I am not sure of ihealth's direct return policy (compared to Apple's).

    Wireless wrist blood pressure not accurate

    I follow all the instructions, but it always shows high readings. Not accurate. I even compare with ihealth blood pressure dock. Not good.

    How long has iOS6 been out? This thing still doesn't work with it? What does that tell you about the company? Didn't realize when I bought the wrist blood pressure cuff. Thought I could use it as a stand-alone monitor? Nope. Doesn't work. Guess I'll take my health eco-system purchasing elsewhere.
