    It's a controller that works.

    • Written by from Granbury

It does what it says. It will not whisk you away to another universe where your iPad becomes cooler than your Xbox. I enjoyed playing MC3 and BIA while traveling.I hope this will inspire more mobile gaming in the future. Android has made me jealous with their Bluetooth support for some time and now their is hope.

    Great

Excuse my poor english im french....

This is great, playing MC3 is fun and smooth, i now rank in the 3 top player of the match almost everytime. Still waiting for MC4 to be compatible. Tried with Order and Chaos and its not so great, lot of fonction still need you to touch the screen like looting and accessing some menu features. Tried with Asphalt 7 and It work well, im not into racing game so im not going to take solid position here about if its good for that or not. There is no sensitivity on the control sticks ; you cant move slow or fast, same for aiming , make it difficult sometime. Overall its great , lot of potential, gameloft make good games so im not worried and ill be soon satisfied with the compatible games library.

Buy if you are into the Modern Combat serie, otherwise idk...

    What a joke...

    • Written by from Austin

Just bought this controller. Was a bit distraught to find out that it does not (yet?) work with Modern Combat 4. But I would be wiling to wait...if it worked with any of the other Gameloft games that I have on my iPad. This includes Wild Blood, Modern Combat 3, and NOVA 3.

I've paired and unpaired it, switched the batteries and done any number of other arcane actions I can think of, and it has made no difference.

Also, does not turn off after five minutes of being idle as it is supposed to do.

Last, it has no reset button as the instructions claim.

    Great for gamers!

Other than the old school boxy design this is a very responsive controller. Makes me want an Apple TV so I can play on the big screen!

    • Written by from Burlington

Why would the duo controller not b compatable with all gameloft games especially modern combat 4.... That's the main reason I bought the controller. Come on make it compatable with mc4

    MC 4 support please!

    • Written by from Dallas

It works really well on all games, but MC 4 doesn't support this gamer! Sad! Maybe I should write this review in the apps store, but please support that! I love gameloft!

Love it, works great, but no support for Modern Combat 4

    • Written by from Toronto

Only reason I bought this was to play with Modern Combat 4 - only works with 3. It works great - but only on dusty old games that nobody plays anymore. I will return it very soon if more support isn't added. As I'm sure most of the people who bought this will.

    Works Great!!

I really like this little controller. It isn't as comfortable to hold as an Xbox 360 controller, but it isn't uncomfortable. N.O.V.A 3 and Modern Combat 3 play even better now. My favorite thing to do is to push the games out to my TV via Airplay. I leave my iPad in the stand that comes with the controller and it serves as sort of a 2nd screen. Now I can carry my games with me when I'm out and when I get home I can continue on the TV. This is the future. Watch out Microsoft and Sony!!!

    $80?!?!?!

    • Written by from Tolland

This unit costs $30 more than a wireless XBox or PS3 controller, feels cheap and flimsy and only works with a handful of games from one Publisher. What a HUGE mis-step. We love the touch screens on our iPads, but we want a REAL PHYSICAL CONTROLLER for games. Also, we want it to work with more than just a few games. If this was $30, I would be happy, but $80 is obscene.

Apple needs to develop its own in-house controller. That way it can have broader compatibility and be worth the money. I'll stick to my PC and consoles for gaming at this point, thanks.

    Not a great user experience

    • Written by from maplewood

The first time I connect my controller I get to view all the apps that are available...but I cannot go back to that listing via my iPad. I have one chance to download all the games. What if there are more games that will support the game pad? How will I even know? That is not great... plus $80 for a device that doesn't fit adult hands?

I really like Brother in Arms but when I adjusted the controls to be inverted the game was broken. I couldn't even play unless I reversed the controls back which I do not like down=up up=down. I'm very concerned for this product and its life cycle. Was that it? I'm returning this product.

    Awesome

Wow, the Duo Gamer is an absolutely awesome controller. The controller is solid and the buttons are responsive. The included stand makes gaming feel like a console experience. The supported games work flawlessly with the Duo and First Person Shooters are now playable the way they should be.

I feel like I now have an unfair advantage when playing online but I can live with that.

    Highly Recommended.

    Works great !

Playing games like nova 3 and asphalt are much more console like with the controller.

I really like the device and they are suppose to add additional game support. I really hope they add support for modern combat 3 and most importantly modern combat 4.

Please support this product since the more people the better. As of now only 3 games work with this controller.

    Works really well!!

    Its very easy to use.
I just used this to play Order and Chaos Online and NOVA 3.
I must say, it is A LOT better than virtual controls, more space on screen and no more "accidental" button pressing. I love this controller, it works so well and makes games so much more fun!!!
