make sure to adjust your iphone/ipad settings to have ultimate sound, so one user complain review because he most likely needs to raise his phone volume and adjust volume from headset

    There's nothing like this!

This is the best headphone for bass heads when on wireless/noise canceling on. And a good HIFI can if with wire /with noise canceling off. I tried everything in best buy- Bose, beats, seinheiser, pioneer hd 2000, skull candies, sonys but after hearing the UE 6000 they just all sound to "cannish" for me. The UE 6000 just like the 9000 has a very unique appealing sound stage and bass that makes you say "yes this is the one I'm looking". The UE 9000 is convenient though because its wireless and has many features that others don't have. It really sounds good even with spotify streaming. It's very smooth. The mids and highs are just right and uniquely balance. The sound is not scattered, it's just feel you are in a padded cell or a club. The bass is the best so far from all the headphones i own and tested. So for all of you bass heads out there. These headphones are just what your looking for. Nothing can beat this can on bass when the noise cancellation is on. You can start to play from any wireless players without re pairing them again. You just press the start button on the headphone and the play button on the headphone. It will play the last media you open- your iphone music player/ pandora / spotify or anything. From a HIFI to a bass head now.

    2 defective units

Just returned a 2nd set of UE 9000's as the Bluetooth volume/play
buttons didn't work with an iPhone. Also, I'd say the sound just
isn't loud enough. I had the same low volume problem with a UE 6000.
So besides the low volume and the lack of buttons, they're fantastic
    ear muffs.

I picked up a pair of Parrot Ziks to mess with and they sound amazing. I like the feature set of the EU 9000's better. I'd like to get my hands on a working pair.

    Outstanding audio performance

Logitech UE has done something special with this headphone: they've easily surpassed all their competition for the best sounding sealed headphone on the market. When running these in passive mode (power off, 3.5 mm cable plugged in), the sound quality is *amazing*. Pulls the listener in closer to their music for a highly enjoyable, engaging experience.

When turning on the noise canceling circuit, the bass becomes a bit heavy for my taste; however, many of you will love this with your music: acoustic bass in jazz trios sounds a little boomy, but most other types of bass will probably sound incredible. The ability to cancel ambient noise is pretty average.

The audio quality of the bluetooth was exceptional. With your smartphone in your pocket, you can move about the house and enjoy a clean, interrupted audio signal. Of course, bluetooth audio is subject to being finicky so YMMV.

There is a talk-through button on the earpiece that mutes the audio and amplifies outside noise; this comes in handy when someone needs to briefly get your attention. There is also volume control for the active circuit. Please keep in mind that when you activate the bluetooth functionality, you are forced to use the noise canceling as well. Not a big deal, but just be aware this will be in the signal chain (some purists may prefer to bypass the active circuit, which means you can't use the bluetooth and should probably just purchase the UE 6000).

Only complaint here is with the micro USB 5-pin cable that charges the battery. The cable barely fits and needs to be shoved in with excessive force, and removed with even more force. At a lower price this wouldn't bother me, but when you pay premium you expect every detail to be perfected.

Highly recommended for music enthusiasts who spend lots of time with their headphones and really appreciate the high quality audio these offer. These won't disappoint.

    Good but with some Caveats

This headphone/headset really has the features I've always been looking for:
    -- Bluetooth or wired operation
    -- Nose cancelling
    -- Rechragable via USB
-- Mic for phone calls and Skype etc
-- Wired mic with iPhone/MacBook compatible 3.5mm cable and playback controls
-- Over the ear design and travel case
-- Works when discharged via wired connection

    BUT:
-- These are a tight fit .. I dont have a big head but they are tight and uncomfy after 30 mins of wear
-- The sound is ok, but should be better. Bass is somewhat bloated though not as absurd as DrDre and similar. Midrange is a little muffled. However, I'm comparing these to audiophile quality phones such as Sennheiser HD650, so I suspect for many sound will be just fine. It's certainly fine for movies and casual listening.
-- The controls are awkward. For some reason the main switch slider is located so close to the headband it's tricky to slide on and off, and the headband hides the LEDs. Why? THere is plenty of room around the perimeter.

However, overall these are pretty good, and are as close to "you can have it all in one headphone" as I've seen to date. I just wish the fit was adjustable and the response a little flatter.

    Great Performance, great headphone...

The truth about these headphones is that they are really fantastic in their performance and functionality. Unfortunately, bluetooth isn't always the best for audio. Those who don't frequently use the technology may be upset by this. Depending on the device and the stress put on it (processes, running apps, etc.) you may experience the occasional skip, distortion, or other misplaced noises while using the bluetooth. Again though, this isn't often. I find my iPhone 4 is guilty of this most often of the devices I use with them. This is normal and I don't think a problem in design, all the bluetooth items I use have these ticks. Additionally, when using the product on my MacBook, I would like to see battery status in the bluetooth menu like that of a Magic Mouse or something.

To reiterate though, the headphones are great. If your device doesn't perform flawlessly over bluetooth and it bothers you, use the cord that comes with them. Using the cord will offer uninterrupted and phenomenal sound. Crisp highs, deep bass, good mid range.
