    Equal, great quality!

    • Written by from LOS ANGELES

4 units made a progress to the sound quality compared to TF10, especially on the LF side. Compared with SE535 or W4, it is more equal on kinds of aspect such as human voice, classical or pop rhythm. Male voice is great, sound field strong, Female voice is delicate and thin. Additionally, the looks is soooo swag!

    Almost a custom!

    • Written by from Minneapolis

Ever since I purchased a pair of customer Ultimate Ears UE 18 earphones a couple of years back, I have been struggling to find a pair of backup earphones that matches the sound quality and comfort of my customs. Firstly the 6 drivers in my UE 18s are not going to be matched, and as far as comfort is concerned, nothing is going to beat the custom molded shell to my ears.
I had purchased, and subsequently returned top of the line $400 Westone universal fit IEM earphones, all the way up to the pair of $500 Shure IEMs...and everything in between. All, eventually returned or given away. These, however, were done right. UE put the same drivers they use for their customs into a neat little universal fit package. The sound is balanced, and sharp. The bass response is good, but not great. But this one is definitely a keeper.
They've stuck with the replaceable cable thing, which is awesome. Cables are always the reason earphones a most commonly rendered dead. So by being able to replace them, you'll be able to keep a pair of earphones longer, especially if they cost a bit.
The cables with the UE 900s are good. I ran in them no problem. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the swivel. But it's still good, and stays in place.

Well played UE, now I have a pair of headphones I'll be happy with when I have to send my customs in for a servicing.

    Incredible

    • Written by from NEW YORK

I've never written a product review before, ever. These headphones, once you take the time to (a) re-download your music at higher quality levels and (b) fit them on your ears [takes some getting used to] are simply unreal. You will experience your music on a whole different level.

I live in New York City so these are the equivalent of someone's car stereo in terms of how much I use them. If I lived in a city where I wasn't listening to music in headphones as often, I'd opt for the UE 600's ($119). That being said, if you are very serious about listening to incredible music very often, these are worth it.

Note I've owned Bose headphones, Dre Beats (both in ear and their highest end over ear model), Klipsch, Monster DNA - you name it. These are by far, the best sounding period.

    New Flagship iem from UE

    • Written by from Vancouver

I previously owned UE triple-fi 10pro which was ue's old flagship iem.

Just got them today and this ue900 has a lot of improvement.

First thing is isolation. Tf10 has medium level isolation comparing to

    Shure’s or Westone iem

However Ue900 now provides a way better isolation than tf10.

Second it is so much comfortable compares to tf10.

I had no issue with wearing my Tf10 but

with ue900 I can only notice I am wearing headphone when I touch my ears.

Third is the midrange. Tf10 has more distance on vocal and some midrange

instrument yet ue900 brought those distanced midrange in to your ears.

It is full, rich and vivid.

The last is bass. Tf10 has Mid-bass boosted rather than sub-bass which makes sound a

little boomy. However ue900 has linier response between Sub-bass and Mid-bass which

makes bass deeper, punchier and tighter.

One thing that I was wanted more was treble like tf10 but it's not mean that ue900 is

lacking of treble. It is just my taste of music.

By looking at ue900, I can tell Logitech ue has put so much effort and time to replace their

old flagship iem and it seems like they did great job.

    Mind-blowing

    • Written by from Woodinville

These were designed as backup buds for professional musicians. Over 80% of touring musicians use Ultimate Ear buds (which are custom molded and tuned to their ears). When those break - they use these.

These have 4 armatures which are essentially 4 separate speakers. This allows for amazing lows, mids, and highs.

The sound quality is best in class for the pricepoint. These are worth every penny. You will never need another pair until a long time from now these break!

The best thing I have ever had in my head

    • Written by from SAN MARCOS

Except my brain. I have had the triplefi 10's, various shure buds, the new 600vi's, etymotic and a bunch of others. These are hands down the best things ever. I know they are crazy expensive, but the way I justified the cost was, well, I use them every day, for hours and hours a day. If you haven't tried multiple driver buds, give these a go. You will love them for years.
