    Another failure

    • Written by from Wokingham

So annoyed with myself for not reading reviews before purchasing. I was worried I was just buying and brand and marketing hype - well I was.

I am now on my second set due to left earbud loosing sound quality. First set returned to Nordics (£9 shipping cost) and replaced after 4wks but only when I chased. Now after less than a months use the second set have developed the same fault only this time no response from Dre Beats support!

Listen to the majority and spend your money elsewhere.

    URBEATS headphones

    • Written by from Huntington

Bought this product because of the popularity of the brand expecting a great sound and quality. In less than 6 months I had to replaced them twice. Seems like plenty of buyers had problems with this item, the company should just recall all URBEATS headphones. Was planning to buy a set for my gf but not going to now. I can only hope that beatsbydre do the right thing.

8 months after.. Right phone isn't working

    • Written by from 岡崎市

The cord which connects to the jack has some problems. I tried pushing them a bit and there was sound coming out of the right phone. If I let go the sound goes off.

I guess the cord isn't sturdy enough and I want it replaced. Last Saturday I went to Apple store where I bought the product and the staff told me to contact Beats by Dre's support because I cannot return the product to Apple Store in Nagoya city. Why is that so? In my experience at electronic shops they can replace broken products easily.

I'm gonna try to call the support and will post their reply to my concern. I hope it gets replaced soon. I was liking Beats the first time I heard it but now I need to be more careful when buying headphones that doesn't have strong cords.

I have had Beats in the past and they have been great for bass, I picked these up and they sounded worse the a 20 dollar cheep set,not sure if I got a bad set, but I returned them and exchanged for another brand, as for build quality they seem fine, but I only had them for a day so I do not know there longevity.

Does not live up to its hype

    • Written by from Beverly Hills

Just bought my first pair of UrBeats earbuds. The product is beautifully packaged and f
Eels sturdy but the sound is no where near as good as the sound I hear from the stock apple ear pods. I think $80 goes towards packaging &19 towards the sound quality of the earphones. I'm returning mine tomorrow. Disappointed.

    Good product

These really are good headphones. Enough bass and noise isolation. I've seen a lot of reviews saying they don't last, but I've had these since Christmas and they still work perfect. Trust me, I listen to my music loud. They're worth the price.

I have had 2 pairs of these head phones, as they were replaced. Now, These things broke both times in the matter of 2 weeks. Never buy these, especially with apples terrible customer service. If you buy these apple will keep putting you on hold, and you will never get your money back... Also the Beats by Dre website has awful support as well, but at least there they will send you a replacement. Do not buy these apple will steal your money for a piece of junk that lasts at most 3 weeks with minor use. Sincerely, some one that went to radio shack and bought a pair of skull candy headphones that have lasted longer than both pairs so far.

These are definately worth the money. My previous earbuds were the new Apple In-Ear Earbuds, which I thought were great. However, when I got these, I realized that even Apple's new pair of earphones werent that great. On Apple's, the sound leaks a lot, and everyone can hear what you're listening to. On UrBeats, the sound barely leaks, and you only need the sound a little less than halfway instead of blasting it like on Apples. Definately a great purchase, definately worth it!

    Good sound. Terrible fit.

    • Written by from San Francisco

Sound quality is good but the ear buds are heavy due to its metal casing. Any friction on the chord or small tug causes the ear phones to fall out of your ears.

    Amazing headphones!

    • Written by from aurora

These headphones give an amazing sound. Deep bass and just great quality. The design is beautiful and they are extremely durable. Many criticize these headphones. But with the right device and a equalizer to adjust your sound. You will get the best sound ever. I recommend them to everyone nd they are worth every penny.

The cords are like it would be broke easily and I think it has too much bass and it cover up all mids, high and I think urbeats are really lack in soundstage. I've tried to listen to an electro songs like Skrillex , Gym class heroes, Far east movement but it just gone worse I would recommend earpod if you want urbeats SERIOUSLY

    • Written by from danvers

I LOVED these earphones at first. Sounds great and love that the ear buds actually FIT in my ears!!!!! Butttttt after about 2 months one earphone blew. My phone turns down the volume on purpose so that won't happen and I Do NOT like loud music. The same exact thing happened to my boyfriends beats. He has the beats tour and BOTH his are blown!!!!! I would send them back to the company but the warranty doesn't cover blown earphones!!! Don't buy!!!!

    I'm Impressed!

    • Written by from san francisco

So I finally decided to get some UrBeats. I was very skeptical at first because of all the reviews they had gotten. I wanted to try them myself and wow I'm amazed.
I upgraded from Apple Earpods, which are great, but I wanted some more power and bass. I was limited on cash and I wanted good looking, something durable, and more importantly, good sound. That's what I got from these! Sure they are $100, but you get what you pay for. Could be a bit cheaper IMO. I previously was a Skullcandy guy and they constantly broke. Went to the earpods, but then I lost noise isolation and a bit of bass. These were definitely good candidates for an upgrade. I definitely recommend these. I have tried several headphones and earphones. I considers myself a moderate audiophile. I got these to see what all of the Beats fuss was about. I guess now I know, and I'm impressed.

    Just because they are beats

    • Written by from Rydal

I read so many reviews and did a lot of research before i bought these headphones and no matter how many times I read that they are not worth it and they are only 40 dollar headphones I bought them anyway. These headphones look amazing but they are really not worth $100. The mids and highs are very muddy and makes alternative rock like the lumineers mumford and sons very unenjoyable. I am most likely going to return these for scullcandy titans which are only half the price and much better reviewed

These in-ears are bassblowing. They say you hear every detail hahaha no. The bass is just to loud but for hiphop it might be cool. You won't get a naturall sound with the urs. They don't worth 100 bugs. You might get better for 30-40. But yes if you are a basshead they are pretty. The earbuds are not good for sporting, they keep falling out, they have light weight though. But yeh for Audiophiles like me, I wont recommend this product. I never going to pay these money company ever again every product seems to be overpriced. While I have the Beats Pro which sound amazing but the other products of the collection are pretty terrible. I gave this "urBeats" a try but I don't worth the 100.
