I Loved the beats at first. Still love the sound. But after one month my left earphone blew and now rt one has a short. For $100 it stinks if you ask me. Wish I would have read reviews first. DISAPPOINTED

    Amazing headphones!

    • Written by from aurora

These headphones give an amazing sound. Deep bass and just great quality. The design is beautiful and they are extremely durable. Many criticize these headphones. But with the right device and a equalizer to adjust your sound. You will get the best sound ever. I recommend them to everyone nd they are worth every penny.

    NOT WORTH MONEY

    • Written by from Richmond

The cords are like it would be broke easily and I think it has too much bass and it cover up all mids, high and I think urbeats are really lack in soundstage. I've tried to listen to an electro songs like Skrillex , Gym class heroes, Far east movement but it just gone worse I would recommend earpod if you want urbeats SERIOUSLY

    "NOT WORTH $100"

DO NOT BUY!!!!!! BLOWN SO EASY!!!!!!!

    • Written by from danvers

I LOVED these earphones at first. Sounds great and love that the ear buds actually FIT in my ears!!!!! Butttttt after about 2 months one earphone blew. My phone turns down the volume on purpose so that won't happen and I Do NOT like loud music. The same exact thing happened to my boyfriends beats. He has the beats tour and BOTH his are blown!!!!! I would send them back to the company but the warranty doesn't cover blown earphones!!! Don't buy!!!!

    I'm Impressed!

    • Written by from san francisco

So I finally decided to get some UrBeats. I was very skeptical at first because of all the reviews they had gotten. I wanted to try them myself and wow I'm amazed.
I upgraded from Apple Earpods, which are great, but I wanted some more power and bass. I was limited on cash and I wanted good looking, something durable, and more importantly, good sound. That's what I got from these! Sure they are $100, but you get what you pay for. Could be a bit cheaper IMO. I previously was a Skullcandy guy and they constantly broke. Went to the earpods, but then I lost noise isolation and a bit of bass. These were definitely good candidates for an upgrade. I definitely recommend these. I have tried several headphones and earphones. I considers myself a moderate audiophile. I got these to see what all of the Beats fuss was about. I guess now I know, and I'm impressed.

    Just because they are beats

    • Written by from Rydal

I read so many reviews and did a lot of research before i bought these headphones and no matter how many times I read that they are not worth it and they are only 40 dollar headphones I bought them anyway. These headphones look amazing but they are really not worth $100. The mids and highs are very muddy and makes alternative rock like the lumineers mumford and sons very unenjoyable. I am most likely going to return these for scullcandy titans which are only half the price and much better reviewed

    READ, THIS IS THE REALITY!!

    • Written by from Zwijndrecht

These in-ears are bassblowing. They say you hear every detail hahaha no. The bass is just to loud but for hiphop it might be cool. You won't get a naturall sound with the urs. They don't worth 100 bugs. You might get better for 30-40. But yes if you are a basshead they are pretty. The earbuds are not good for sporting, they keep falling out, they have light weight though. But yeh for Audiophiles like me, I wont recommend this product. I never going to pay these money company ever again every product seems to be overpriced. While I have the Beats Pro which sound amazing but the other products of the collection are pretty terrible. I gave this "urBeats" a try but I don't worth the 100.

    Decent headphones for the price!

    • Written by from San Francisco

As an audiophile/audio engineer, I can be biased when it comes to sound quality and brands. But I was pleasantly surprised when I gave these a listen. (The rep at Apple actually opened the package and let me test them before buying them!) They're obviously more bass heavy, but it's something I appreciate since listen to plenty of hip hop and R&B. However, it isn't the most accurate when I listen to jazz haha.

When I want a flat and accurate/studio quality listening experience, I throw on my beyerdynamic dt770s. But these trendy urbeats are perfect for my daily commutes to and from work, as well as when I'm jamming to music in the office. I never thought I'd buy some beats, but I gave in. And I'm not mad about it either. ;)

    BEST EARPHONES EVERRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Written by from Vaudreuil

I went to the apple store recently to pickup the urBeats by Dr Dre. I asked a bit about them to the salesperson and he told me that for the price you can get much better earphones. My heart was set on them for a while so I bought them anyways. I got them the same day as i was going up north so I used them 2 hours there and 2 hours back. They are amazingly comfortable!!!!!!!! In the package you get different size earbuds and the mini "christmas tree" ear buds (as i like to call them) fit best and are the most comfortable. I have owned 4 different earphones and these are by far the best I've ever had!!! I really like them and I recommend these to anybody.

    Good:

Comfortable, amazing quality, nice design, clear sound, crisp notes (as it says on the box), nice bass, never tangle

    Bad:

(the only bad thing is the bag/case) the bag (little case that they come with) looks nice but it doesn't look like it would protect the earphones very much, hard to open and then close without the cord going in between the magnets

    DONT BUY!

    • Written by from Houston

Beets are only for looks. Most people buying beets don't look at sound quality they look for the tacky design that are beets. These sound TERRIABLE I am not an audiophile but listing to them for 5 minutes I took them back to the store, got some Klipsch ones (AWESOME). Bottom line if you are buying for looks don't buy they are tacky if you are buying for sound quality don't come close because the inner audiophile will die and you will never listen to music with passion again.

    Muddy Sound

    • Written by from Mequon

I've been wearing them for a few hours, and I plan to return them. They are comfortable and look great, BUT the sound is really muddy. The highs aren't crisp at all and the bass is too heavy.

I owned two pairs of the Beats Tour headphones. I loved the sound, but they both fell apart way too quickly. I bought the urBeats after losing a pair of Bose headphones I really liked that Apple no longer sells. Not sure what I'll end up with next.

Ideal Tour replacement at $100 less!

    • Written by from Ancaster

I've owned 5 pairs of Beats Tour's in about a year and a half...the constant replacements were due to a faulty control talk and fraying wires. I kept going with them as I was truly in love with the way they sounded.

I decided to try something different, so I purchased the UrBeats as a sample. The sound quality is phenomenal for earbuds this size. I would expect nothing less from the Beats line of headphones. Highly impressed.

I would certainly recommend this product to anyone seeking a set of excellent earbuds.

    From ANR to urBeats

    • Written by from Portland

I've used Bose's QC15 noise canceling headphones for over a year now and they're perfect for travel or working at the desk, but not so great for wearing on the bus, or walking to work. I picked up a set of urBeats headphones this weekend, and love them.

    Pros:
    Great bass response
Noise reduction is good via the various ear-tips
Good sound quality during phone calls and mic-pickup
    Cool looking

    Cons:
Gives you that plugged-ear feeling when talking on the phone

I've gone through 8 pairs or beats tours in nearly a year ! the faults were buzzy distorted audio from either earpiece or remote + mic failure , I'm very impressed with these earphones , they have tighter deeper bass than the tours , much more detailed highs and vocal clarity ,defiantly worth the money , the tours sounded awful on my iPhone 5 before , quiet and lacking bass but these are very loud clear and have superb bass
