As an audiophile/audio engineer, I can be biased when it comes to sound quality and brands. But I was pleasantly surprised when I gave these a listen. (The rep at Apple actually opened the package and let me test them before buying them!) They're obviously more bass heavy, but it's something I appreciate since listen to plenty of hip hop and R&B. However, it isn't the most accurate when I listen to jazz haha.

When I want a flat and accurate/studio quality listening experience, I throw on my beyerdynamic dt770s. But these trendy urbeats are perfect for my daily commutes to and from work, as well as when I'm jamming to music in the office. I never thought I'd buy some beats, but I gave in. And I'm not mad about it either. ;)

I've used Bose's QC15 noise canceling headphones for over a year now and they're perfect for travel or working at the desk, but not so great for wearing on the bus, or walking to work. I picked up a set of urBeats headphones this weekend, and love them.

    Pros:
    Great bass response
Noise reduction is good via the various ear-tips
Good sound quality during phone calls and mic-pickup
    Cool looking

    Cons:
Gives you that plugged-ear feeling when talking on the phone
