    Same problem every time

    • Written by from hamilton

So my third pair of urbeats just broke. I got these for my birthday 11 months ago and have gone through three pairs. Don't get me wrong they provide great sound for the rap music I listen to but don't last long at all. The average life for these is 3 and half months, which is insane. Not to mention the same problem happens every single time. The left ear bud just stops working after a couple of months, for no reason. I take great care of these $100 headphones so they don't break and they still do.

I have had 2 pairs of these head phones, as they were replaced. Now, These things broke both times in the matter of 2 weeks. Never buy these, especially with apples terrible customer service. If you buy these apple will keep putting you on hold, and you will never get your money back... Also the Beats by Dre website has awful support as well, but at least there they will send you a replacement. Do not buy these apple will steal your money for a piece of junk that lasts at most 3 weeks with minor use. Sincerely, some one that went to radio shack and bought a pair of skull candy headphones that have lasted longer than both pairs so far.

    Not worth $100 at all

    • Written by from Feeding hills

I bought my first pair march 10th 2014, on June 18 the left earbud would not work. After contacting beats via email they sent me a survey and did not even help me. I had to go on TWITTER to get help, they never tweeted me back. After calling I'm forced to pay shipping and wait 3/4 weeks to get a new pair. The sound is great, nice snug fit, and good craftsmen ship. I hope that sense apple has acquired beats they will have a better costumer support system and they will make the earbuds last more then a month. The apple I know would not stand for such problems with there products.

    Not worth the $100!

    • Written by from Bryant

I bought my earbuds this past December. Now it's only the beginning of June and they're completely useless to me. About a week ago the left earbud went out completely. I fiddled around with it some and nothing. So I was left with having to listen to my music with only one earbud in, which totally defeats the purpose of having earbuds in the first place. But now, both earbuds are out. So not only am I left to using apple earbuds, but I've also wasted $100 on a product advertised to be able to "take a beating". In the short time that I did have them, I loved them. The sound was great and I really enjoyed having them. But a pair of $100 earbuds should last longer than 6 months.

Terrible product, decent sound, horrible craftsmanship

    • Written by from Toronto

So I was given a pair of these for my birthday six months ago and I LOVED them. They had good sound, were relatively comfortable, and worked great with my iPhone. Until today.

Six months into my ownership the right speaker has lost sound, and it's not covered by warranty because it's "normal wear and tear".

I'll be setting these on fire this weekend at a barbecue and buying a different company that isn't marketed based on the owners reputation.

I've had them for a month and the right earbud is not working, planning to exchange them next week for some better headphones because beats are just for the looks , no great quality whats so ever

    Good product

These really are good headphones. Enough bass and noise isolation. I've seen a lot of reviews saying they don't last, but I've had these since Christmas and they still work perfect. Trust me, I listen to my music loud. They're worth the price.

Good earbuds ..... While they last

    • Written by from Sydney

I bought my ur-beats in April of 2013 not knowing about the problem of the left earbud.
They were good while they lasted excellent sound quality bass ect until sure enough the left side started playing up end eventually cut out altogether for no reason.
Are they worth over 100??... Probably not for something that only lasts for a year and 3 months.

    Urbeats- any good

    • Written by from Bingley

So the urbeats have a fantastic design that consist if metal specifically iron, the look Is great and the cable is tangle free, the redness of the cable is vibrant and the remote is great for the control of volume, tracks ,taking calls and Siri. However the remote feels cheap and loose also the cable feels delicate it isn't but it feels that way, for £80 you can't go wrong so far, beats include alot of ear buds for the perfect fit which is vital for a good listening experience, also great packaging and they include a 1 year warranty , those are all great things but now its time to discuss the sound. No lie I love these I found the perfect fit I used all the ear buds and all combinations I also found a great equaliser so the highs are great yet in fatiguing, the bass is on point and thumpy slightly exaggerated but not muddy. Vocals sound great very clear but sometimes they sound hollow which for country listeners may be a problem, the mids are ok they're defined and noticeable but not enough. For me and my genre (hip hop, rap) beats are perfect these urbeats are portable and sound great they have a big sound unlike most earbuds for such a small size. Even the case is awesome, taking calls is an easy experience and clear not amazing but clear , I'm 17 and I recommend these thank you

These are definately worth the money. My previous earbuds were the new Apple In-Ear Earbuds, which I thought were great. However, when I got these, I realized that even Apple's new pair of earphones werent that great. On Apple's, the sound leaks a lot, and everyone can hear what you're listening to. On UrBeats, the sound barely leaks, and you only need the sound a little less than halfway instead of blasting it like on Apples. Definately a great purchase, definately worth it!

I live these earphones these sound fantastic I think I will be using these instead of my earpods a lot of reviews I've seen claim they break quickly
And they probably never even bought the earphones if I take care of these earphones they would probably last me at least 2 years!!!

Beets are only for looks. Most people buying beets don't look at sound quality they look for the tacky design that are beets. These sound TERRIABLE I am not an audiophile but listing to them for 5 minutes I took them back to the store, got some Klipsch ones (AWESOME). Bottom line if you are buying for looks don't buy they are tacky if you are buying for sound quality don't come close because the inner audiophile will die and you will never listen to music with passion again.
