    From ANR to urBeats

I've used Bose's QC15 noise canceling headphones for over a year now and they're perfect for travel or working at the desk, but not so great for wearing on the bus, or walking to work. I picked up a set of urBeats headphones this weekend, and love them.

    Pros:
    Great bass response
Noise reduction is good via the various ear-tips
Good sound quality during phone calls and mic-pickup
    Cool looking

    Cons:
Gives you that plugged-ear feeling when talking on the phone

    Decent headphones for the price!

As an audiophile/audio engineer, I can be biased when it comes to sound quality and brands. But I was pleasantly surprised when I gave these a listen. (The rep at Apple actually opened the package and let me test them before buying them!) They're obviously more bass heavy, but it's something I appreciate since listen to plenty of hip hop and R&B. However, it isn't the most accurate when I listen to jazz haha.

When I want a flat and accurate/studio quality listening experience, I throw on my beyerdynamic dt770s. But these trendy urbeats are perfect for my daily commutes to and from work, as well as when I'm jamming to music in the office. I never thought I'd buy some beats, but I gave in. And I'm not mad about it either. ;)

These really are good headphones. Enough bass and noise isolation. I've seen a lot of reviews saying they don't last, but I've had these since Christmas and they still work perfect. Trust me, I listen to my music loud. They're worth the price.

    Urbeats- any good

So the urbeats have a fantastic design that consist if metal specifically iron, the look Is great and the cable is tangle free, the redness of the cable is vibrant and the remote is great for the control of volume, tracks ,taking calls and Siri. However the remote feels cheap and loose also the cable feels delicate it isn't but it feels that way, for £80 you can't go wrong so far, beats include alot of ear buds for the perfect fit which is vital for a good listening experience, also great packaging and they include a 1 year warranty , those are all great things but now its time to discuss the sound. No lie I love these I found the perfect fit I used all the ear buds and all combinations I also found a great equaliser so the highs are great yet in fatiguing, the bass is on point and thumpy slightly exaggerated but not muddy. Vocals sound great very clear but sometimes they sound hollow which for country listeners may be a problem, the mids are ok they're defined and noticeable but not enough. For me and my genre (hip hop, rap) beats are perfect these urbeats are portable and sound great they have a big sound unlike most earbuds for such a small size. Even the case is awesome, taking calls is an easy experience and clear not amazing but clear , I'm 17 and I recommend these thank you
