    Keep getting error when trying to print test page during set up

    Set up was going fine until the final step of printing a test page. When I click to "print test page" the process starts, says that it is "printing," but then as the paper starts to feed, it stops (not jammed, just stops) and I get a "printing error "message (not explaining the error, which is not helpful) telling me that I need to turn off the printer and turn it on again. Have done that 10 times, and same thing. The copy function works fine, so the paper will roll through, just not when I print from computer. Can't find anything helpful in troubleshooting materials.

    So, having spent an hour trying to print a test page and still being without a functional printer, I must give this product, at least for the moment, the lowest grade because it has just been a source of frustration. Will give customer support a chance when the phone lines open up. if that does not work, will return it tomorrow.

    DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!! You will be returning it.

    This printer should not even be for sell. It has no print quality what so ever. Used up all the ink in printing 2-3 test pages. Test pages had feint lines running all through it. Tech Support at Epson were clueless.

    Air print doesn't work with Mac iOS 6.1.3!!!

    Air print doesn't work with Mac iOS 6.1.3!!! That's what I mainly wanted when I purchased this. I've read all the reviews, this printer beat out all the others. But no where did I see a complaint about Air Print. I can print wirelessly from computer. I can use my iOS devices to send email to printer, iCloud print works, but epson iPrint app can only find printer if it's turned on. I tried everything!! Air Print doesn't work. Only response I get from Epson is, "Please make sure you see no errors on printers screen" and "Make sure you don't have a memory card in" Like I'm some kind of idiot. Well maybe I am, because I can't get it to work...Even tho I built two gaming PC's and owned a Mac ever since they came out. I can't seem to get something as simple as AIR PRINT to recognize this EPSON XP-400!! Air print searches for printer and then gives the massage "No AirPrint Printers Found" What am I missing here!?

    so basically if your looking for a printer that connects to your wifi and phone and computer... DO NOT BUY AN EPSON!!! these are the worst printers on the planet. i have to call tec support like once a week to get it hooked up to my wifi. do not waste your money. apple did a terrible job by teaming up with epson, im so fed up with this printer that i might stop buying apple products all together.

    Epson XP-400

    This printer has nto worked from day 1 and no help has been found. It prints colors that are not on picture, never prints in black and distorts everything horribly. VERY UNHAPPY and not sure where to go from here.

    I bought this printer so I could print from my new I Pad- I can't get it to connect to my wi-fi. I tried calling the Epson helpline and they were terrible- I'm going to take it back to the Apple store-

    My experience with epson has been a nightmare.
    This printer doesn´t work good, you have to replace the ink every couple days..

    And lastly it print with lines.

    Doesn't work

    Can't get it to work. Printer can't be found. It worked some at first, but now no joy. Don't know why. Waiting and waiting for some sort of response to my requests for help from Epson. Waiting waiting.

    I don't even understand why it's on Apples web site. I bought it at Best buy because it was advertised as being able to print from ipad. I don't know why I'd ever need to do that, but I thought that meant it was apple compatible and would set up easily. My Macbook Air won't even recognize it. I'll be taking it back and continuing to do without a printer and paying exorbirant fees at Kinkos to print. Home printers NEVER work properly

    This Printer is Horrible

    I've had this printer for about a month and I already have problems with it.

    1) Although I can always print wirelessly, the wireless scan feature will never work. It always says "Cannot detect computer".

    2) Even though I installed them correctly and only removed the yellow tape (as instructed), the ink cartridges leaked and now I have to replace black and magenta after hardly using the printer.

    3) It will not load paper!!!!!
    Now, it will not load paper. I've tried everything and it still won't work. Obviously, this ia a huge problem because I can't use the printer at all.

    4) Their website provides very little support and I cannot find a solution on how to fix my basically brand new printer.

    I've tried for hrs. to get this printer working/Ihave a compac. table cp and my wife has aAPPLE LAP top. what am i doing wrong? IT KEEPS WANTING A SSID AND NET WORK PASS WORD, WHERE DO I FIND THESE THINGS? COMCAST IS MY CABLE CO. BUT THEY SAY IHAVE TO GO TO THE COMANY I BOUGHT THE PRINTER FROM TO GET THESE ANSWER'S CAN YOU HELP ME ?PLEASE.

    I bought this printer when I bought my new Mac Book Pro. I was unable to set it up by myself. I contacted Epson who after 1.5 hrs was able to connect it to my computer. It still would not connect to AirPrint. After spending over 2hrs on the phone with Apple and eventually restoring my Ipad to factory settings it was determined the problem was with the printer. It was suggested to send it back. Do not waste your time or money on this printer.

    printer comes with wrong drivers for Mac so get ready for call to India based tech support. it also has no (I mean zero) cables so you can't even plug straight in if having wifi connection issues which you can expect every time. really surprised apple sells/promotes a printer that does not work with its products.

    VERY disappointed

    I purchased this trusting in other reviewers, and because I could print wirelessly from my iPad. It makes a horrendous noise, quality of print is very poor. I've only used it a short time and,the magenta is out of ink. A friend threw out the box, but I want to try and send,it back. I would rather get a better printer rather than deal with this. My last printer was refurbished. It was a WONDERFUL printer. I will purchase something refurbished,and try to sell this one.

    doesn't align the paper and prints very slow

    The configuration and set up is all easy but it does not align the paper properly and always gets printed not in line. The printing time takes so long if you have a bulk printing, you are screwed...i advise not to buy this one..

    i only bought it because it supports AirPrint

    AND I CANT SET IT UP! My iPhone & iPad cannot find the printer when i try to use AirPrint... i thought AirPrint would work out-of-the-box… i shouldn't have to download separate apps just to print, especially when the box states AirPrint is supported… but apparently not. someone help me, please.
