    Bad...just bad

    At first, i was excited to get my Zooka, but over time, the 8 hour battery just kept wearing down. I use it in a big room and it worked fine until, with the battery, the quality of the speaker declined. Give it 6 months and you will be looking for a new speaker. Plus, the cord was way too short. i had to put a couple books under it to hold it under the plug when it charged.

    Just ok - not worth the price for most

    Good - design, setup and volume.
    Bad - Serious problem with latency. If you wish to hear the sound in sync with the lips of the speaker or the fingers of the performer it's not the product. I suppose this is because of Bluetooth. Did not sync up with the visuals on the New iPad or iPhone 5.
    Recommendation - it's the best of the bunch but buy it somewhere that you can return it if it doesn't meet your needs.

    I could never get this to work. Absolutely no instructions whatsovever. Not one scrap of paper. Returning it tomorrow.

    Apple should be embarassed to even be associated with this product and company.

    Nice but not as convenient as the commercial

    The Zooka has nice sound but the operation is not as easy as the commercial indicates. The commercial shows putting it on the ipad and playing a song. BUT first you have to go to the ipad settings (each time) and go through the bluetooth. Also, it comes with a real lack of instructions!!! You have to use your ipad charger plug to charge it--the Zooka only comes with a very short cord.

    Great Little Gadget

    After loosing most my sight I have become a true Apple lover, this product is no exseption. Easy to set up, Easy to use, works very well with all the apple products. Can be moves around doesn't have to stay on devise. Heavy, well built. color Choice are few, I did get a pink one because I can see bright colors. Sound quality is good and does get very loud. I will give it a good rating, pricey yet I did find mine on sale. 5 Stars its what the box describes..

    A design classic....

    ...and please to report that it's not all form and no function! Received mine via Kickstarter. Not only does everything about this scream class, even down to the packaging, but it has a mighty punch to it too. The sound quality is excellent. Not too many buttons to use, so control EQ via your own device (iPad, iPhone, Laptop etc). feels good too......
    A must have for anyone wanting portable music outdoors, or wanting to use at home from room to room.

    Awesome little speaker with BIG BIG Sound!

    As a backer of the Kickstarter project, I received this speaker in the mail with a bit of skepticism. I loved the sleek design and feel of the silicone exterior. When I connected this awesome little speaker to my iPad2 for the first time, I was blown away. Crisp sound and loud volume. (Bass is lacking but look at how small it is). Next I tried with my iPhone4, instant satisfaction. Not only does it sound great, if I get a call, Boom Bluetooth in my car for $99! Now I use this thing every time I get in the car for a speakerphone. Great product Carbon Audio!

    Sound is limited

    I have found that the speakers on the new generation IPADS are really superior to this gadget that produces tinny, canny and low level sound. In fact, it takes away from the machine's own speakers. Now it sits on the shelf, waiting for a fate I can't decide.

    Amazing Invention!

    I am a teacher and frequently use my ipad for lessons. In the past, I have told the chidlren that they needed to be very quiet so they could hear. Now with the Zooka, they can hear loud and clear! And it is wireless so I can carry the small speaker around the room or outside and leave the ipad where it is. The Zooka is easy to set up and very high quality. I am now ordering one for home too!

    This is a great stand / speaker system. Love the style, look, and feel. The sound is perfect for the size and cost of the speaker. Really increases the effectiveness of my ipad. All in all a great value and product!

    Great speaker system for the Ipad

    The Zooka started off as a Kickstarter project. I supported the project and really like the result for my Ipad.

    The Zooka can go on other laptops and has a cut out for the webcam in order to do so but I'm using it strictly for the Ipad.

    The sound quality is great. It's loud enough to where you can listen to music in the shower comfortably or listen to a movie while doing something else. It connects and holds the bluetooth connection fine.

    The feel is sturdy and it holds onto the Ipad firmly. It does interfere with the case but it's small enough to carry in your bag without an issue. Does a great job, provides a kickstand when it's on the Ipad and is enjoyable to listen to.

    In short, great product. I'm glad I supported it and I feel like I got my money's worth.

    Portable Loudness and quality

    I really love the Zooka. I can take it camping, listen to it poolside, throw it in my bag, take it ANYWHERE and hear my music and play my movies and shows that I love so I can actually hear them. I also get a stand out of the deal so I don't have to buy it, its a 2 fer. It also has a nice smooth sleek feel to it and everyone asks me what it is.

    Sex for your ears

    Okay--I am not one to be all up in a device, but this one really grabbed me. It's lean, it's not afraid of being colorful. I don't want another black or silver device. I want something that I can throw in my handbag that matches my shoes. Which is why I got the Zooka in red. Because I am obsessed with red shoes. Also--I am from the era of boom boxes. This is the new boom box, only, outside of the box. I love it. I love it for both my iPad and Macbook. But laying in bed at night and kickin' it with Netflix with booming sound... on my iPAD...? I love it! I also love that people say... "WHAT IS THAT?" when I throw it onto (insert my device here). It's some serious sass, and thank you Zooka for not creating another boring f'ing product.
