I am very pleased with my Pill, it has a very nice sound and I can hear everything very clearly. The Jambox and Big Jambox that I used in the past weren't nearly as crisp sounding and I was running high-quality mp3 files through them. The Pill can also pump out a decent amount of bass depending on the quality of the file and the final mixing of the song. If you're looking for a lot of sub bass, you won't find it here, but I find it surprisingly deep on many occasions. My only qualm is that it does drop the Bluetooth connection every once in a while, but it does have AUX in/out inputs. Other than that, I really enjoy this thing!

I bought this product on 4/21/2013 and using it with my iPhone 4S and iPad 2 (iOS 6.1.3 version). The bluetoothe connectivity keeps dropping and is quite annoying. Having paid more than 200$ for this beautiful piece of work, I expect it to work without any issues. But the issue mentioned above forcing me to return the product. No prompt response from Dre pill tech support as well.

I saved up for a few weeks and bought these speakers and couldn't have made a better choice. The sound quality is through the roof (especially the bass with dubstep) and the connectivity is great with all apple and android devices (haven't tested it with any blackberries) . On top of that it is stylish and tiny but mighty. I highly recommend purchasing these speakers if you want something you can take anywhere while getting great music in a stylish fashion.

not sure about people saying it doesn't stay connected, as I don't have that issue at all. great sound. very good bass for a small speaker. if you turn the base boost on in the equalizer setting sounds even better. does not distort when you have it turned all the way up. VERY impressed!

    GOOD SPEAKERS...Bad Connection

I got the Beats Pill speakers as a Christmas gift and thought I was going to LOVE them! I did for a little while the music sounds pretty good for a speaker of this size. I have a Bose Portable that is much larger and has GREAT sound. These speakers are a good substitute for traveling and they have good sound, like I said. However, since my iPhone 5 and iPad have been upgraded to iOS 6.0 and beyond the Bluetooth has been HORRIBLE! It will connect and play for about 5 minutes, sometimes longer but NEVER longer than 10 minutes. After that the connection drops out, without warning. The iPod still shows that the music should be playing but nothing can be heard. In order to get it to work again you have to turn the speakers off, or hit the button to repair the connection, then turn your bluetooth off/on after that it will work for another 5 minutes. Go with ANOTHER speaker or wait until Apple and Beats figure this issue out because it is a HEADACHE!!

I have a Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin which is phenomenal. I was looking for something portable with good sound. Of all the products I bought and tested, this product by far sounds the best for the portability. However, I cannot get it to work with iPhone 5 and it loses connection with my iPhone 4s following my ios 6 upgrade. I understand that someone is working on it, but I am not sure who or how. I am beyond my return date, so just make sure you try it before your return date runs out!

I have 3 Bose iPod docks at home, I also have Beats Headphones (which I love) but this product is terrible. It's built very sturdy and the design is great, however the sound it puts out is just terrible. Bluetooth connection fails after about 7 minutes on average, the sound quality is horrendous, don't turn up a sound too loud or it'll start to cut out. You'll be disappointed if you're expecting the usual Monster/Beats sound quality. Definitely not worth the money, save up for something better.

I love it, but it drops the connection every few songs. Super annoying. The reviews here dont mention it, but other places you can see that its an IOS 6. issue. AT least thats what Beats tells people. Said they are working with Apple to fix. Hopefully soon, I really like it!

Tried many different Bluetooth speakers and ended up keeping the Dr. Dre Pill. Sounds nice for the size and does not distort with higher volumes.

The Pill 7.5" x 2" of well designed technology. We love this new gadget! We use the speaker with iPhone, MB Air, and iPad to listen to iTunes and SiriusXM radio. The sound is outstanding. We store and charge the Pill in our roll top desk. The sound improves and deepens being surrounded on five sides by the wooden credenza. We enjoy the Pill in the washroom as accompaniment to shower ballads. Battery life has not been an issue for us. We connect with Blue tooth to all of our devises, the option to plug it in is appreciated. We have used the speaker as a hands free devise a few times with no issues, clear sound and positive opinions from callers. Very nice buy with confidence!

This device is seriously a disappointment. Regardless if you're a fan of Beats or not, this was really disappointing for $200. After medium volume the device startled to crackle and pop. It had a very thin frequency response. I expected something with a little bit of bass coming from a Beats product - nope.

The $100 UE box is much better and half the price. A much better bargain.

Great quality sound and looks good on the desk. Bluetooth connection is a bit spotty with my mabcbook but works fine with ipad & iphone. Portability is good, very sturdy and comes with a sweet case.
