I own both the Bose Ae2 and the Beats solo hd. the beats sound miles better. However the durability of the beats is poor. I am on my second pair due to breakage. It is a good product but buy the warranty.

Good to the eyes, not the ears

I received a pair last x-mas & was very excited because I had been eyeballing these for some time but the price tag on these bad boys was too steep for me to splurge on myself. The padded headband is very comfortable and the soft leather on the ear pieces is very nice. The audio was impressive at first but did not take long to start rattling and buzzing. The right ear piece sounds horrible and since I only worn them minimally, maybe twice a week, for about 6 months before they began to break down, I cannot recommend!! Spend the 100's of $ on a better quality product. And Monsters' cust serv has been non-existent. I have a few inquiries in with them about my warranty and had received no communication back.

Fashion statements - not music ones

These are eye-catching - great colors, great packaging. The Solos are muddy doing nothing well except provide overwhelming bass. I would recommend spending the $100 more to get the Studios.
