    Great Speakers and Great Support

    • Written by from Villa Park

The speakers sounded incredible for their size, but then one speaker went dead not long thereafter. I contacted iHome's customer support, and they were very courteous, helpful, and offered to replace them without any hassle. Great speakers and great customer support. This was my first experience with iHome products, and I will definitely be going to them again in the future!

OOPs WRote bad review, but it was user error.

My mistake. I complained that one of the speakers did not work after only 10 times. Didn't realized I needed to push the bottom to turn on. Now I am happy. Apologize for the bad review.

Great sound for such a small speaker

Great sound for a small speaker. THe only real annoyance is the cable. Its an all in one type, so the USB part gets in the way sometimes if you are moving around a bit. Otherwise love them.

    Poor quality all around

I'm shocked that 3 others have given these speakers a good review. This is my second pair of iHome speakers (a different model now discontinued) and right away they felt totally different... they felt more cheaply made and the sound quality was noticeably worse even though they were significantly bigger. Here is a list of pro's and con's (don't expect the pro's list to be too long):

    Con's:
    - tinny sound quality that's not at all robust
    - cheap feeling materials
    - the wires too easily slip out of the ports leading to lot's of fiddling and adjusting
    - the mechanism to turn the speakers on and off breaks easily (which means the speaker can't turn off bleeding the battery very quickly)
    - they are big and clunky

    Pro's:
    - low price

    Conclusion:
You get what you pay for. Don't even bother with these, spend a little more and get something better.
