These headphones have good, clear sound but by far not the bass I thought I would be receiving from a Beats product. I also have always taken excellent care of my headphones, gently rolling them back up and keeping them in the case they came in, yet after approx. 8 months of VERY light use (maybe once every few weeks on an airplane), they started to have problems where one headphone intermittently loses sound and I have to adjust the headphone jack, sometimes extensively, before the sound returns. The problem has gotten progressively worse, to now being unusable. Since I did not call within Beats' 12 month warranty, Beats will not repair them under warranty, nor do they offer any sort of program to fix them for a fee. $169.95 down the drain.

Bought these to replace Shure 310s which I lost. Within one month the left earbud started crackling, then completely dropped out. Poor quality/bad product.

Had for a day and the wires are already messed up and it sounds almost the same as a 8 dollar pair of headphones . The beats studio are worth it but these are not .

    WORST HEADPHONES EVER!

If there was a way I could give these headphones zero stars I would. Within a period of 3 months I had to return them 4 times due to defects. The first time I had crackling in one of the headphones, second time the volume adjuster didn't work, third time it was crackling AGAIN, and the final time the right headphone went out all together. I kept on subjecting myself to it because I really loved the design but its not worth that much of a headache. I had a pair of Klipsch s4i's before the Beats and I had no problems with them until I accidentally washed them in my jeans, which is what lead to me spending $150 on these pieces of garbage. Got a new pair of Klipsch and they sound better than the Beats by a long shot....and they're $50 cheaper!!!

II wanted to award no star. The sould is good. I purchase one for that high price. Sound was good. But after 2 months. the remote control on the beat Tour does not ocntrol the iPhone anymore. It did work well on same iPhone before. I have also a beat Solo HD and I check that on the iPhone, and they still can contorl.
Slo for the price, I would recommending gong for Shure, Klipsch earphones. I also have those, plus Bose headphone. Those did not have any issue

    Extremely poor quality

I bought these in an apple store, and expected them to be average sounding and good build quality. After a week or so the right ear piece started to make a rattling noise.Extremely low quality build for the amount of money you are paying for them. Do not buy. You can get the a Bose or Shure for about the same price and with better sound/ and build quality.

    Not worth the premium price

BAD - Very disappointed with these headphones. Sound quality is not as good as some MUCH cheaper units I currently own. The volume control stopped functioning after about 5 months. Bass is not impressive. I would not purchase these again.

GOOD - Nice selection of ear bud adapters to help fit almost any ear. Large, flat wire is very resistant to tangles. The look very cool and stylish.....if you're into that.

Had these headphones for roughly a year and a half, in that space i had to replace them three times due to multiple faults. I can see no benefits for paying such a premium price, all you get is disappointment.

They sound pretty good but honestly within a week the control talk stopped working. No volume control and no mic. These should be sold for $30

Bought this product and after two weeks the typical no sound in the right channel. They return me a URBeats instead. After reading all the review on this product i understood that they gave up on this very suspect product since the rating on the replacement is way better. However i paid too much money for this and end up being short changed, i will never buy their product again, plain simple...Great Branding but no substance.....

    Poor Build Quality

These earphones sounded great and I loved the fit and design. However, they are poorly built. The right ear crackled out of the box and after a few days of light use it crapped out. I returned them and the sound in left ear cut in and out as the cord wiggled.

    Dollar Store Quality

Purchased the Beats Tour ear buds after losing my Bose. Big Mistake! The Beats only lasted 2 weeks and they feel really cheap. The left ear bud started only producing half the sound of the right. I was told by beats that i have to pay for the shipping to the factory where they fix them so they can see them and will consider if they fall under warranty. After paying over $170 for ear buds this should not be the case. These ear buds may look good but are really garbage.

I should have stuck with the Bose, never had a problem, had better sound quality and even cost less. Had them for 2 years with no problem till i misplaced them.

If you decide to buy Beats keep your receipt as you will need it for the warranty! These are also no longer made by monster, maybe thats why they feel like a dollar store ear bud, cause thats all they are worth!

I got this as a gift for Christmas and it only lasted for about 2 months. I'd rather get the EarPods. Yes the quality and sound is really good, but it breaks to easily!

    Awful earphones

I purchased these based on information I had read about Beats. The headset came and was packaged beautifully but worked badly. The sound quality was no better than the standard Apple headset and worse yet, I could not find a comfortable tip to fit my ear. After shoving it in my ear, I went for a run and it kept falling out. I do not recommend. Try something else.

flimsy and don't sound that great

Both me and my wife have owned these for about 4 months. The left speaker on my wife's stopped working after about 3 months. The control talk button on my earphones just fell apart today. Because of how old they are, I could no longer return them to Apple and had to deal with Beats customer service, which is nothing like Apple's customer service. It may take 2 months to get the warranty replacement. Do not buy. You may love them at first, but you'll eventually regret it. Oh and by the way, I'm not sure why others on here are thinking they sound great; they must be comparing them to the free earphones that Apple used to give with the iPods / iPhones. I actually think that Apple's new ear-pods sound better than these $150 headphones. I've owned Shure, Etymotic, and V-Moda and the sound with the Beats is far inferior. I should not have to tweak my EQ settings on my iPhone and MacBook Pro to get rid of the tinniness.
