    Cannot Connect to my iPhone5

    • Written by from Maharagama

Something is wrong that I cannot connect my Beats Wireless to my iPhone 5.
Bluetooth services never show up 'Beats Wireless' to get connected to the headphones.
I earlier used it with my Samsung Galaxy S4, it worked fine, but since I moved to apple I had no use of it.
Please get me a solution because I won't be able to use it if I'm not able to connect it.

    Not a good product!

    • Written by from Plainfield

Like many of the reviews I read online, I had these for just about 13 months when the right side went out. Contacted customer service for repair options, was told there were none. I have since replaced them with the BOSE and am much happier. They are a little less expensive because I'm not paying DR DRE for his name. They have fancy packaging and look high end but in sum, they are just garbage wrapped in a nice package.

    Awesome Beats

    • Written by

The beats headphones are awesome. I tried them on and they made the audio super clear. Some people say the break easily, but that was just a lack of careful use. They are the best headphones in the world.

    Absolutely fantastic sound

    • Written by from Omaha

Perfectly clear separation that pushes every musical element to the limit without going overboard. Love my Beats so much I started working out every day just to give myself extra listening time. Comfortable, easy to wear and move around. Bluetooth pairs easily and gives you great range. Totally recommend you get these. Mine have given me total satisfaction for many months.

Perfect if they worked all the time!

    • Written by from Wayland

Have only had the Beats Wireless for three days. Initially, I loved them! Then they started going out on me. The show that I was watching or the music I was listening to would continue on my iPhone5, but I could not hear anything! The blue light was on indicating that the headphones were working. The only thing that worked was turning the headphones off, then powering them back on. This issue has happened 5 times to me already, sometimes when they've been in use for only 5 minutes, other times after 2 hours. This issue has nothing to do with proximity of the device, wi-fi, or media. Can't figure it out! I will be exchanging because I really like the product! Great sound quality!

The Best Wireless headphones on the market!

    • Written by from Hoffman Estates

If you're a sound junkie then you prob will favor Yamaha, Bose, Sennheiser. But if you are super annoyed with wires and want something Wireless then there is no better Bluetooth headphones on the market (I'm super frivolous so have tried the Parrot Zik, Harmon Kardon BT, and Bose Bluetooth (fyi bose have some ugly microphone sticking out while beats is inbuilt!), numerous times and Beats came out on top). The price is steep but the sound quality is fantastic for Bluetooth. Despite them saying you get 10 hrs of battery I've found i get about 12 hrs! There is no noise canceling function but with the exceptional bass and above average treble you won't notice much of a difference between this and the Studios. And the best thing is if they ever run out of charge, you can just plug in the audio cable and they become wired (With EVEN better sound quality). Def recommend.

I find a lot of these reviews very strange because my wireless beats have been a superb purchase. Excellent battery life (take note apple!) and brilliant sound quality for wireless. I don't get the Bluetooth problems others are mentioning connecting to my 4S.

However, sine the update to iOS7, the wireless controls for volume and changing song have stopped working. I hope there is a fix coming cause it is becoming very annoying.

Other than this, I have been delighted with these headphones and I've used them every single day for almost a year now. Highly recommended

I don't want to recommend this product.

    • Written by from Yongin

I've had several experience of disconnection with my iPhone4. Plus I don't know any workaround, even why. :\
I didn't think wireless means unstable connection before buying. Think carefully if you have a plan to buy this.

    Waste of money

    • Written by from Winston Salem

Definitely not worth $270. You can't use Skype with it, the quality is awful, and sometimes it even lags up the device you're using.

    Very Disapionting

    • Written by from Aberdeen

Having spent £250 on these I expected far more. I bought them duty free while traveling, if I had bought them locally I would be demanding my money back. The sound quality is okay for djing but the bluetooth connection cannot keep up. Need to get your house in order Dre, expected more from a fellow DJ!!!!

    Poor sound quality

    • Written by from South Lyon

I bought for my wife but returned due to poor sound quality (not clear and to get good sound need to turn volume really high) and uncomfortable fit; returned it and bought the Bose AE2w instead for $30 less, less weight and and much happier with the clarity of the music; also Bose has feature to connect 2 devices which is very convenient instead of connecting every time.

The remote cable has a mind of it's own!

    • Written by from sydney

Unlike other people, I have no issues with blue tooth connection at all - it's great. Everytime I attach it to the cable (with the remote/mic) it has a mind of its own. Stopping/starting music, siri, voice control it just goes in circles. They're totally unuseable with the cable. So frustrating as I can't use these unless they're in bluetooth mode and don't always have access to a computer to charge them! Nearly $400 on unuseable headphones and nobody seems to be able to help me.

Head band broke after 2 minutes of use. Was adjusting the fit and just like that they broke in 2. I would not recommend these to anyone. Real cheap quality. Go get some Bose if you want a quality headset.

Reported problems which affect multiple phones

    • Written by from London

I've had my Beats Wireless for 7 months now and can tell you that many of the problems reported here are not just specific to iPhones. As well as my iPhone 4 I have noticed the same problems on my Galaxy S3 as well as my old Nokia Xpress. Random dropouts of audio or headset buttons failing to respond. Just to day (reason for me finding this thread) I've realised that streaming videos from YouTube or Vimeo while using headphones can be a problem also. Found it very difficult even on wifi to get videos to even load, but the moment I disconnected they loaded. I had this issue on both my iPhone and S3. I wonder if this is a Bluetooth frequency interference?
If those problems can get sorted that would be great, but I don't think its an Apple issue.

    Headband cracked

    • Written by from Sinabelkirchen

Already read somewhere before the purchase that somebody's headband had cracked, but thought it's a result of lack of care. But when the headphones arrived I understood the issue: A 2mm thick plastic headband is supposed to withstand the strains of daily use. And surely, after 2months of (careful) use, the headband broke. Just like that.

Apart from that relatively positive experience, no pairing issues with iPhone4S, iPhone4 and the Macbook (the first device I managed to pair to my macbook), sound quality good, songs do skip a little forward at the very beginning of the song.
