If you are looking at purchasing a pair of headphones in the 200 dollar range, LOOK NO MORE! Seriously, click purchase. I tried the beats, I tried the Souls, I even tried some Senheisers (the runner ups), but ultimately they all fell down! Beats are just a sub box on your head, they are tight on your head to create the tight box to make the amplified bass, uncomfortable for any lengthy period of use, same with the souls but with a more balanced sound. Senheisers are the runner up in almost any model that I experienced, but ultimately the over ear design was to big, bulky and hot. These recreate sound perfectly! they are super light and comfortable for long long long wears! Plus, the fabric lets air in and your ears don't sweat. And last but not least, look at that design, look great alone, and look like they were designed for the iphone and macbook!

I bought it in Bangkok as I live here and there was only P3 and C5 available in the store. I own one of B&W Zep-Air, so you could say I am a fan of B&W. As soon as I get home I listened to P3 immediately. First I was pretty much disappoint. The firmness of the sound is not live up to it. I wasn't satisfied.
Well, It might be because I tried to compare with Zep-Air. After I read more reviews, there was one said that burn it in would make some improvement to it. As I did, for couple days as for 6 hours straight of Maximum volume. It sound better but not a big leap. It has great sound reproducing in almost all aspect except for the firmness of the sound.
I have bought it only 1 week thought. Hopefully, If I burn it hard out for few more time it might get better. After all the burn it kind of give more solid sounding but the warming and softness of it sound kind of decrease. However it still produces a warming and soft sounding. And I prefer this over Beat Pro by Dre.(my cousin has one) I tried the Beat on and I must admit that it has firmness of the sound but apart from that B&W p3 sound better to my ear in all aspect, natural, close-in bass, comfortable to wear and sounding of p3 seems to hurt my ear at minimum level. If I would have to listen to Beat Pro for more than 2-3hours I guess I would take it off before that. There is a tip. If you listen to it by taking off the acoustic fabric, it gives much more firmness and clear sounding but, it would take away all the warm and soft sounding of it. (And probably it would not be quite comfortable to do so)

I am a sound mixer for a living and utilize Sony MDR-7506 Stereo Headphones for work. I bought these headphones for personal use and love them. I listen to more music and watch more tv shows and movies because they sound fantastic. The size/design is perfect and the detail that I can hear when using the P3's are extraordinary. They also come with a black plastic case that is very useful for traveling.

These P3's replaced my Sennheiser HD-238 (which are still working great). The Sennheiser's have good sound, but the P3'3 are even better. The P3's are more powerful, have increased dynamic range with punchy bass when compared at the same volume level. P3's have a super clean, crispy range with bass balanced out nicely, so you'll definitely have moments of head-bobbing to the music...the only thing that irritates me about it, is when I get a txt or call- It interrupts my music! =) P3's are great for phone convo's too. People don't seem to complain about the background noise when I'm at the airport, and it's really noisy at the airport!
Beats by Dre have way too much midrange and heavy bass. I use the P3's with my iPhone4S, Macbook Pro 2009, and iPad2 both during travel, and at home. I'm a road warrior during the week for work and the P3's are not Noise Reduction, but do a great job of isolating the outside noise. They are so powerful and clear, that it's easy to miss that someone is trying to talk to you (just ask my wife). You won't regret buying these. I wanted the P5's, but decided I could live without NR.

After a few headphones, I'm yet to find any other perfect sound like this for its price. My brother and I both purchased headphones, him buying Beats By Dr. Dre Solo HD, and I purchased this. And all I can say is WOW. Balancing could't be done any better. Bass isn't too heavy, nor is it too weak. Pitch is perfect among all songs compared to the Solos. I find them extremely comfortable, and actually more confortable than ome that are even more expensive than the P3. I am a student who is an avid and constant listener who listens to multiple genres and I'll say, I couldn't find another pair of headphones that satisfied me any more. I highly recommend this to everyone, and I tell you this: you won't regret it. I'm sticking with these for a long time, and don't think I'll be switching to anything for a while.

Yesterday, i bought B&W P3 for $200. From all the reviews, they are great. I picked this over Bose OE2i simply because it is B&W!! Beautiful design, beautiful construction. Problem? When i put it on, it sounds like a bad base car audio out of a Civic vs. my Koss Portapro KTC!! Yeah, it may need "burn-in"...but the sound signature is not good! Midbass is bloated. Midrange is kinda strange...yeah, kinda bloated...but somehow a female voice doesn't sound good...almost like nasal congestion like. The top end is just rolled off severely!! The sound is "muffled". Compared to my P3, the Koss has amazing range...you hear the whole frequency range of the song. In addition, with P3, you can feel the cloth material on the earpads rubbing your ears.
