A great way to keep your accessories from disappearing in the bottom of your laptop bag!

This has various sized elastic straps that allow you to customize it for your needs.
Very simple idea but perfect for laptop users!

Twice the electronics neatly held in place

    • Written by from Ukiah

I bought one of these almost a year ago, and immediately couldn't live without it. With it, I carry twice as many chargers, adapters, batteries, and personal goodies neatly in the side pocket of my briefcase. Without it, they were all banging together in a maddening jumble. After a year, I'm just as happy as I was the day I bought it -- the elastic is still strong and holding everything perfectly in place.

    Perfect for travel

    • Written by from New York

I use my Grid-It every time I travel. I work in tech, so I'm always carrying multiple devices, as well as the accessories and chargers that go with them. I never have to worry about forgetting something, cords getting tangled, or digging to the bottom of my luggage when I need to work. You'll love it!

    But

    • Written by from Quebec

Helps alot to gain space in my backpack (im a student) but it looks not really durable... we'll see if the elastic are as tight as they are now in one year ! Dont expect to much from a 25 $ item but it does the job its suposed to do so i would definetly recommand this to someone who wants to maximize space, especially in a messenger bag !

    Great but backboard?

    • Written by from Campbell

This is a great product from cocoon. I'm a student, and it has been great for me. But now here's the problem. It has elastic bands that go straight horizontal and vertical. It's a thin, flat piece of. What ever it is. And it doesn't seem to be too strong. If you let it sit with a bunch of stuff in it for a long time, it starts to contort. Mine at the moment is still relatively flat, but it has turned into a parabola. But despite the strength issue, the organization this provides is phenomenal. Especially if you have a few pens and pencils, then a flash drive or 2, and your iphone (or itouch, which ever you have. If you have an android, just don't even read this.) (That was a joke android fans) plus its charger.

In other words, great product, but over time, and fyi, it starts to contort. Great for $25 though.

    Excellent Organizer

Really like this organizer system. My Thule case is slim and this organizer is perfect for its slight profile. I was a bit skeptical about the purchase but after receiving it and getting my stuff in it, I'm happy because it does exactly what it says it does, intelligent and flexible organization. glad I got it.

Good for extra cables and accessories

    • Written by from OGDEN

This is not a case, it is an organizer with many horizontal and vertical straps to put any accessories and cables that you have. I put my MacBook Pro's charging cable and brick on this to keep it from rattling around as well as a few other cables. Like a previous reviewer mentioned about contorting, it does feel like it is not sturdy enough for that, but after a month so far I have had minimal contorting. Would recommend to anyone with a less than organized backpack.

    Well Made & Incredibly Useful!

    • Written by from Vancouver

Do not listen to the naysayers on this one. I almost didn't buy this because of them, but am so happy that I didn't listen and bought it! It is a great contraption for holding your stuff and keeping it organized. Also great, because you can just slide it in and out of your bag without stuff falling off. The straps really hold the stuff on, but it is NOT hard to get stuff under the straps. On my Grid-It right now is a mouse, a magic trackpad, headphones, 4 AA batteries, the apple battery charger with 2 more batteries, and a pen and stylus. Sure, you could probably make your own at home, just like you could make home-made post-it notes, but I would say the construction of this thing is hard to beat. You can also always rearrange the way your stuff fits on it. There are a LOT of different straps and strap sizes for holding stuff. I think I'm going to get another!

    It's Amazing

    • Written by from Kansas City

I bought mine at the Apple Store in NYC on a lark. The result is that I am so much better organized. Everything fits better in the three-dimensional space of my briefcase. This is the best resource I've ever seen to organize all of the toys that go along with your devices. I wish I'd invented it.

    Awesome Organizer

    • Written by from Fayetteville

I love this organizer! My husband quickly decided he needed one as well! No more cords everywhere and all tangled up in my bag! They are nicely organized and no longer have to worry about digging through a zippered pouch for the right one, and it seems more slim line than throwing them all in a zippered compartment in my bag. Highly recommend! I would give it 5 stars, but some of my elastic bands are losing elasticity and looking a little frazzled and I don't consider myself a rough and tumble user....I would also be a little happier if the bands were just a little different. Sometimes I have trouble accessing certain items, or finding the right band for others. So, while it's not "perfect" it's still worth the money for the function and all that it provides.

    No Way!

    • Written by from Dallas

I was really disappointed in this item! I thought it was a case, as the word Cacoon makes you think it is a Case. It is just a flat and rather cheaply constructed board. Uh, could not even think of anyone that would enjoy it.
It the first item I have ordered on the Apple website that does not measure up to the quality that Apple represents!
Sorry back it goes! Remember Flat and cheaply made!
