These headphones are awesome. The sound quality is much better than the Beats Studio. Even though they are not quite as comfortable as the Beats Studio, the sound quality makes up for it. They are still very comfortable, so you'll forget all about that. What's great is that even with the Active Noise Canceling turned off, the music will still play. That's definitely a great improvement. Like I said, the sound quality is great. The highs are so crystal clear on these and the mids are nice and buttery. The low/bass is incredible for a $300 pair of headphones. It's actually just incredible. Also, the instrument separation is phenomenal. You really hear every instrument crystal clear, even if it is very faint. All in all, I would recommend getting these over the beats studio FOR SURE.
I have purchased (2) sets of these headphones, largely because I like the white ones and also the black ones, as for the sound these are great, I have a pair of Bose quiet comfort head phones and comparison is like night and day, these Monster headphones at low volume has a nice bass sound, the Bose lacks this, the remote wires work with all Apple I Pods, you don't have to touch the I pod the switch on the head phone controls it all, even on the shuffle, works wonderful on the I pads as well, the interchangeable head band insert adds a little style to the head phones, I highly recommend these! I compared to the Dr Dre phones, these have weight, where the Dre feel like cheap plastic, these babies really sound great.
