    Great, but

I thought I would be saving something in getting the keyboard. But, even the solar power requires usb attached somewhere. I have a mac mini and hoped of freeing up a port, but instead I lost 2 keyboard ports. The product looks great works as promised.

    Bad choice

My mac doesn't recognize this keyboard quickly at startup, waking from sleep, or after I leave for a few minutes and come back. I don't recall this problem with my old Apple wireless keyboard. Far more troublesome are the three function keys at the top, which, when you hit them accidentally during typing, will switch you between different bluetooth channels. I do this all the time, then lose my train of thought and have to figure out where I was. Eventually I brought out the hammer to this baby. Why not just hide these switches in a recessed area on the underside of the device instead?

    Mushy Keys

    • Written by from Eureka

I love that the keyboard is light powered. Not having to buy batteries is a huge plus. However, I've only had the keyboard for short time and haven't confirmed that this power supply works in the long run.

What struck me immediately, however, is that the keys feel soft and mushy, and create a louder springy sound when typing. After using an Apple keyboard for months, this one does not measure up in terms of fit and finish.

If Apple came up with their own light-powered version, I'd definitely be interested in trying that.

    Logitech and Bluetooth Connection

    • Written by from Fredericksburg

I like most everything about the keyboard except the bluetooth pairing. If the keyboard sits idle for even a small amount of time (couple minutes) it loses the pairing. Can't tell you how many times I've been typing, stopped to collect my thoughts, and tried to start again only to find the keyboard was no longer sync'd and I had to wait. It's particularly troubling on the web when a lot of the interaction is through the trackpad. When it's time to enter text, the keyboard has usually been disconnected. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

    nice but not for everyone

The previous posts cover this keyboard well. Overall i like the feel and it works fine with one deficiency that was a deal breaker for me. If you run bootcamp you can't boot to the pc side because the Bluetooth keys don't work until the computer is running. I have parallels as well but it doesn't run games efficiently so I (ok the kids) need to run windows occasionally.
