    Great in Canada & U.S.

    • Written by from McGregor

Bought this printer in Canada and did not set it up till we went to Florida for the winter. It worked great for my iPad 2 that I have and my Acer laptop. No problems setting it up at all.
I find mine prints very fast both connecting and doing the actual printing.
Brought it back to Canada when we came home and have no problems what so ever. It prints every time I want it to and from wherever I'm at in the house. Do not know why people are haveing trouble . Could they have a problem with the server they are using for the wi-fi? Maybe for some reason the connection between the two is not happening ??
    Would absolutely recommend this printer.

A single word for this particular Hp 6600, FAILURE.

I have a a HP6450, a HP6500, and I thought that by buying the 6600 I would enjoy the freedom of AirPrint, I was wrong. The 6600 is a dud.

If you can read an instruction manual, this is a good printer for you. I had no trouble setting up this printer. The AirPrint is awesome and definitely worth having. I've experienced little to no trouble with this printer. Just wish it had a card reader but didn't find that enough to not buy this printer.

    Not pleased with Mac scanning

    • Written by from LUFKIN

Sometimes it will scan and most times not. Printer tells me to install software but is never able to find it and tells me to go to Apple Store. Very frustrating. Wouldn't purchase again.

Works, but it's a lemon... Hopefully

    • Written by from Aurora

The printer seems to work fine... I was disappointed when we had to buy an airport router for the airport printing to work, but that's fine I guess.

The main problem is that it squeaks very loud everytime it moves, super annoying. I'm working on replacing it.

45 minutes on the phone with HP to tell me that we're gonna have to pay to ship it back. THEY SENT ME A LEMON AND WANT ME TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE?!?!?? NO!!!!!

    Great for the home office

    • Written by from San Mateo

Our family decided to purchase a wireless All in one Printer for our home office and chose the HP Officejet 6600. We are very pleased with the results after our 30 days of use. The features are great and simple to use. The printer is well built and the size is great for a desk top addition.
The software sets up everything for you in six steps and you are ready to do everything it advertises. The best part for me is the eprint center which have used from day 1.

    It Works....

    • Written by from Staten Island

So I bought this printer to work with my iPad and setup was simple. Works great and the print quality is very good. It also has print anywhere to email function which works great as well. Even works with your smartphone. Has some built in apps which was a nice surprise. Prints quickly and very sharp and bright color. If I had to pick a negative about the printer is that it doesn't have an RJ45 connection so to get this on your network only via wireless but, you can connect also using a USB cable. Overall good printer.

    Waste of money

    • Written by from folsom

This printer is the last HP product I will ever buy. It is false advertising to sell a 'printer" that does not, can not, and will-not ever function as a printer.
It printed exactly 2 pages then it malfunctioned. New cartridges, downloaded updated software and drivers. Nothing worked including hp on line troubleshooting. Tottaljunk.

    Go with something Different

    • Written by from Centennial

Bought this specifically to wirelessly print from my iPads/iPhones and it doesn't work well. As soon as the printer goes into sleep mode, the devices can't wirelessly connect so I have to go down to my basement and turn the printer off then back on. Simply re-waking the printer doesn't help. Print quality is okay, but like others, I believe the ink is used way too fast. I would go with another choice if I had to do it again.

    High cost of ownership!!

    • Written by from Fort St. John

I purchased this printer in June 2012 and have replaced the colour cartridges twice, despite printing less than 20 colour pages. The colour cartridges dry out and become unusable. If any cartridges are removed and not replaced the printer becomes a brick. I DO NOT recommend this dud. I have informed my wife that we are going "Office Space" on this printer. She is good with it.

    This Printer is Awesome

    • Written by from Saint-Jean-Sur-Riche

I bought this printer for the wireless printing and scanning capabilities, it's replacing my old HP Photosmart C4180 which was getting out of date. Setting this up was fairly easy and fast, I downloaded the software on the manufacturer's website, and used the USB cable of my old printer which was already there. While the printer was getting ready with the first printing setup I connected it and installed the program via USB. Really easy and fast to install with the software downloaded and via USB i haven't tried the Wi-Fi Setup.

This printer is amazing for scanning documents & even pictures! The scanner's Specs says 1200 Dpi maximum but mine somehow goes up to 2400 Dpi. The document scanner works great also used it about 20-30 times i haven't had a paper stuck in it i even sent in couple with staples still on them. The printing quality is good but not perfect, documents come out extremely well but graphics and picture seemed blurry a bit and could use some more saturation. Colors seemed faded a bit but it might be the type of paper i was using.

Bottom line, I recommend this printer, yes it is noisy like the others are saying but it's nothing compared to the old HP printer i had. Noise is fairly acceptable. Also Looks good on my desk.

    I hate this printer

    • Written by from Indianapolis

i have owned this printer for nearly a year. if i were to describe its performance, I would give it a "very good" for print quality and when in the fast draft mode, I would gauge its speed as "fast." Set up was "reasonable." So, why do I hate it? Its reliability is absolutely awful. I would estimate that less than 30% of the time I have tried to print on this wireless printer I have been successful. It is absolutely maddening. I have updated drivers, re-installed software, rebooted, connected, disconnected, yadayadayada and it just does not matter. It becomes an anxiety situation when you need something printed and you just don't know if it is going to work. "cannot find printer" is the typical error message, yet when you open the printer page in system preferences, it finds it just fine. Knows the serial number, driver, name, IP address - everything! Then you go to print and it's "cannot find printer." This is our experience while using 2 macbook pros running Lion and 2 newest iPads running iOS 6. But we had the same experience on the previous versions of those OS's. I hate this printer.

I've the printer about a year, this is the second one, the first one was replaced under warrantee. It take ages to print from Mac especially any pdf documents. it make a lot of noise, expecting it to break every time. The scanner jams more often than it scans.

    Love it!

Just bought this printer - my first wireless - and installed it fairly easily. I'm running Mountain Lion on my Mac, so had to download the software from the HP site since it wasn't on the CD that came with the printer. I'm not that tech savvy, and was really pleased that I had all functionality up and running in a relatively short period of time. I highly recommend this printer - It's quite a bargain for the price!

    NOT A GOOD PRINTER

    • Written by from Edmond

I have always page used HP products through the years and have gone from the 2710 to the 8500 (both of which were AWESOME!!) and I gave up my 8500 to my Dad to get this horrible, tired block of plastic, hp calls a "printer." It takes it FOREVER to start to print. Even my 77 year old father remarked, when he was visiting, that he could drive home, print off the page he wanted, and drive back to my house in the time the HP 6600 works. It is AWFUL and please, DO NOT BUY!

    Awesome Printer

it took me only minutes to setup and once done i can now print from my iPhone 4s, iPad 3 and my Macbook Pro. i also have an old windows desktop and it works great!

connecting to the wifi was easy to connect via the screen. i really like the tactile feedback the screen gives.

installing the ink is way easier then previous models.

Three hours and 15 minutes in, and I still could only print the test page.

    • Written by from Johnston

This is my third wireless printer. My first was awesome, but was damaged during a move. My last one was an hp. I was able to set it up in minutes, and all computers in my home (5 in all) printed immediately. The downside - that computer only lasted 5 months, before the paper feeder went. Just replaced it with this hp. VERY disappointed. I began to set the printer up HOURS ago. I have attempted to print from 2 i-pads and a laptop. Nothing is happening. I continue to receive error messages for the printer code e-mailed to me by hp's eprintcenter. I have attempted to resend the information to get new codes. This has worked ONE time. When I attempted to print, a message that the printer was off-line was returned. I could definitely be doing something wrong, I am tech savvy, but not an expert. However, even if this is user- error, should it really be this difficult to set up??? My last printer was installed and useable in less than 30 minutes.. Taking it back. Not recommending it.
