This case is a piece of junk! It broke within 2 months of putting it on, and im not rough with mine just transfer from home office to living room. When I emailed their customer service they were amazing emailing me back within the hour, but then when they told me that I had to pay for the shipping on the product that was defective I just want my money back to try another company's case.

I have just bought Moshi Shell case. After few Specks that cracked on the same places I feel like change. And change it is. You can feele right out of the box. Snaps easily on MBA and it feels somewhat lighter then Specks. Somebody mentioned about clearance on the opening but what I fell is better then Speck. Added weight on the top of the MBA resulted in Specks case with full opening no matter what. This one seems better then that because it stops where I want it to stop.

This, and the Moshi 13" PalmGuard Palm Rest Protector for MacBook Air, are must have items to protect your MBA!! I love the aluminum finish of the MBA and wanted to keep it in pristine condition. After reviewing several options on YouTube, I picked this up via the Apple online store. It is very easy to install. I thoroughly cleaned the MBA casing and the inside of the Moshi Shell Case using a microfiber cloth normally used to clean glasses, then reviewed some YouTube installation videos. Actual installation took about two minutes.

The Shell Case itself is highly durable. I tried scratching the Shell Case (on the bottom!) with a pen lid to replicate the sort of contact I'm anticipating and there were no scratches. Some of the YouTubes will show more daring individuals using scissors and even drill bits!

Note: This will not protect your MBA from being dropped, but if your concern is scratching the MBA casing this is for you. The Shell Case adds no noticeable weight to the MBA and the MBA still closes perfectly.

I'm pleased with the overall look and protection of this case, it definitely doesn't look "cheap" or tacky like many of the other cases I've seen. No overheating issues, and prevents scratches.

Today my laptop fell off my stand, it hit the floor pretty hard my heart fell to the floor thinking about the damage that it might of cause. To my surprise there was no damage at all, the shell case protected my laptop to the fullest extent, i was totally impressed it was a little expensive but now i know why it did the job. i fully recommend this case to anyone shopping for a cover for there laptop. Its a little expensive but it was worth every penny. the mack is an expensive laptop therefore it deserves an expensive cover. You won't be sorry if you purchase the shell case.

If style was all that mattered, I'd give it a five. I have had this case for 4 months. It was put on my computer, I never dropped my Mac book air yet almost all the "clips" that hold the case onto the computer have mysteriously broken. The bottom shell I can not even attach to the computer. The top shell has two of the five clips broken.

I had the Speck case on the MacBook Pro that my previous employer supplied to me and so my initial inclination was to get the Speck case for my MacBook Air. Actually, I initially didn't get ANY case for the MacBook Air but that was just an oversight, the folly of which was driven home when I noticed a (fortunately slight) scratch on the bottom. So I quickly moved to get a case and, as I said, my initial thought was to get a Speck. I had just assumed the Speck case would be as good for the MacBook Air as for the MacBook Pro--when will I learn to look to reviews before buying? Well, fortunately, the Apple Store I visited to buy the Speck case was out of stock of them so I returned home and looked online, thereby encountering the negative reviews on the Speck case (and the InCase case for that matter). Given the glowing reviews of the Moshi, I decided to pop for it, despite the hefty pricetag. It fits snugly and feels like it's protecting the Mac great. So far, so good!

I've purchased this item twice in the span of three days. The first case came in, it fit perfectly, but the bottom left corner of the bottom case wouldn't attach correctly causing this odd cracking sound. So I returned it, ordered another. Same problem! I don't know if both cases have come out defective (which I highly doubt) or if its just meant to fit that way. I'm gonna send it off again, and maybe try a different colored case.

i have spent days and hours looking for the right protection for my macbook air and the reviews for the ones i looked at where not all that great and then i ran across the moshi iglaze the bottom line is if you own a macbook air then you need one of these it looks great feels great fits great.

I love my MBA that I bought, but I'm also very rough with things I own so I know l needed a case to protected it as soon as possible. I looked on Amazon for different cases and they were pretty expensive, but the worse part is that they have terrible reviews, at least for the shell cases. I knew I needed a shell because I'm always rough and I'm too lazy to slip it in and out of a pouch. Most of the shell cases crack or cause over heating or have issues with installation and removal. I came upon the moshi case which was fairly new and had little reviews. But I looked into most of moshi's products and seem like a reliable company that creates really good products, with a heavier price tag. I bit the bullet and purchased this case and I must say, after 1.5 months of use that it's really impressive. No over heating, fantastic protection, and it has given me no issues over all. It did add a bit of weight to the laptop, but that's to be expected if I want heavy duty protection. I would say this is definitely worth it!
