    Minimum Voiceover Support

This product, when first announced, generated great hope for the Blind diabetic community who use the Apple Voiceover screen reading program to access their I-devices.

One would think that, since a large percentage of the cause for blindness is due to diabetes, full Voiceover support would be near the top of the feature list but, alass, it is not.

A little more sensitivity to the needs of the Blind community would be greatly appreciated. Fortunately, Apple provides all that is necessary for developers to make their app accessible to those of us who are Blind/Visually impaired.

    Thanks.

Got this for our son (13). Had it for 2 weeks or so, battery is starting to give out after 2-3 days (10-12 tests?). Seriously, perhaps something is wrong with ours.

Strips not a problem now, first time the insurance company didn't have them listed and didn't want to cover them. We're getting them now for about $73/100. We have a high deductible plan so we're basically uninsured for these. You can get a Sanofi "loyalty card" to lower the price.

Finally we got a glucometer that connects to the iPhone, but why not provide automatic data upload to the cloud/web?
