I bought These Earbuds Based Off Other User Reviews Of 5 Stars & I Am Really Happy I Did.
These Are By Far The Best Earbuds To Date That I Own & Even Beat Some Far More Pricey
Ones I Own. First Off I Am No Audiophile By Any Means, So I Am Telling It As It Is From My
Experiences. Sound Quality Is Stellar. Build Quality Is Top Notch. Extremely Comfortable !
Small & Light Weight.Volume Control & Mic Work Great With Iphone 4S.Long Braided Cable.
I Couldn't Wait To Try These Out, So I Listened To My Top 4 Songs & It Was A Wow Factor
For Starters. Whatever Kind Of Music You May Like These Things Are Really Amazing !!!
Truly Sharp Sounding With Lots Of Clarity And If You Love Bass They Are Awesome !!!!!!
I Have Been Using These Buds Everyday Now For Hours At A Time With No Discomfort.
At A Mere $50 Price Tag These Are By Far The Best All Around Earbuds Out There Period.
My Saying Is You Pay For What You Get,But In This Case You Pay Less For What You Get
With These Which Should Be More In The $100 Dollar Range If You Ask Me. These Are Made
From Aluminum Not Hard Plastic Like Some, So The Quality Is There. One Thing I Have To
Mention Though Is That Changing The Eartips Are A Little Bit Tight Fitting & Tricky. Patience Is
A Virtue, But Once You Get The Right Size Your Good To Go. I Ordered The TS200 Eartips To Try Out But Haven't Received Them yet. So I Think That It Will Just Add Even More
Comfort & Maybe A Little Easier To Change? Will See? These May Not Be The Most Perfect Earbuds Out There, But I Think There Is No Such Thing As Perfect Earbuds Anyways.
All In All These Earbuds Are By Far The Best I Have Come Across In A Long Time.

Can't get better for the money.

    • Written by

    These are
really great headphones for the money. RHA have included a lot
of good features into a pretty cheap set of headphones including
fabric cable, a unique, funky design and of course, an
    iPhone/iPod remote and mic.

    They’re made
out of aluminum, so they feel cool and like they won’t break
easily. They sound great, much better than the earpods could
ever hope to sound, and so far have proven to stay comfy
    throughout long listening sessions.

Finally, the noise isolating properties of the headphone are outstanding, as
someone who travels a lot, being able to shut off the outside
world is excellent and these headphones do it well.

    Great
headphones, can’t get better for the price

    Amazing sound. And it's $50!

    • Written by from Seattle

I normally don't write reviews. But I was blown away by these earphones.

My Apple In-ear headphones finally gave out on me after 3 years of good service so I was looking for something new. I had read the various audio magazine reviews raving about the sound quality. It's $50 so not a huge investment to see what they were all talking about.

Listening to my Radiohead collection to Bach solo violin, the sound quality is amazing. Deep rich bass, and clear highs. Definitely a huge improvement over the Apple headphones and the Sennheisers I have before that.

Also glad it didn't break the bank.

Another plus - it comes with extra earbuds. Extra Apple's earbuds for my Apple and Sennheiser headphones were really hard to find. The only downside is that the jack casing looks a little flimsy and the chrome on the volume control looks a little cheap. But for the price and quality, these I can live with.

    Great earbuds for the money!

    • Written by from Walker

These earbuds are really great in my opinion. They have a very well balanced sound that never really seem to overwhelm on either the treble or bass department. They are very well balanced and any of the times I've used them I've never found that it was "lacking" anything specific. I've owned multiple headsets/earbuds over the ears and so far these are my favorite. They fit very well and come with a lot of fit options so you can find the one that's best for you. Also the fabric cord is a plus so there is less of a chance of tangling! Try them out, you won't regret it!

    A little disappointed . . .

    • Written by from Naperville

Purchased these based upon reviews read on several sites.

The sound produced is very appealing, but the amount of "noise" that gets generated to the earpiece from the wires rubbing on my shirt collar or jacket gets pretty annoying. Not sure if this is a design flaw (i.e.the earpiece not being "sound insulated" from the wires) or due to the cloth wrapped wires providing a surface that may produce subtle "noise".

Didn't experience that problem with my original iPhone earbuds.

    Should have tried before purchase.

    Fantastic Value

Bought these after reading up and seeing some rave reviews. These sound fantastic, really rich and I hear details in songs I've never heard before, the remote works really well (I use it for calls all the time) and they have a three year warranty. For $50 I don't think these can be beat. Highly recommended!

    Simply Awful

    • Written by from Phila

There was nothing at all I liked about these earphones. They sounded like tin. No range, terrible base, and they distorted if you turned them up too loud. Also the plastic pieces did not fit on nicely and kept falling off either in my ear or on the floor. Huge disappointment.

    Great Value for under $50

I've owned probably 20 plus different brands and types of headphones from my first Ipod to my current Iphone. These are without a doubt superior in sound and construction to even my $300 Shure's.

Also one of the few brands where the remote has continued to work after a lot of use.

Nice in-ear buds ruined by irksome cord

    • Written by from San Francisco

I was excited to find these in-ear headphones as the price is right. I live in a noisy city and need headphones that block out noise when I walk outside. Unfortunately I just haven't enjoyed this pair due to an annoying cord. The cord is wrapped in fabric and is extra-long. Both of these are negatives to me. The biggest problem is that the cloth cord picks up every vibration as you walk and amplifies the noise due to the in-ear seal. Every step I take is loudly played back in my ears. If I hold the cord so that it doesn't touch any part of my body they're fine, but that gets old fast. Plus the cord is super long, so long that I had to wrap part of it up with a velcro tie. That makes it hard to put in your pocket.

Too bad. The sound is good. The volume/call control is the best one I've used. It's easy to press and rounded so it doesn't catch on shirt collars. All in all these can be great headphones, but only if you stand still.

I needed to replace my Apple in-ear headphones. I'd get another pair if they would update the volume control like on the new Apple earpods. In the mean time I'll just keep waiting.

    Good for the price.

I bought these headphones for a month now and have not had any issues with them yet. The sound is very clean. Some headphones sound muffled or too bassy or too something, but in my opinion, i think these sound balanced. The bass isn't overly powerful, the mid and tweets i think are pretty clear. Like some other reviews have said, the tweets/highs are more distinct. I think thats great because some headphones lack tweets but give too much mid or bass. I'm a mechanic at an auto shop and when i put these in, i can still hear the things around me but they do quiet down a bit. I only need to use the volume on my iphone at 1/4 of the way and i will get a nice comfortable listening feel. I can hear the music, but at the same time, im not deaf to whats happening around me either. If i put the volume to 1/2, i cant hear anything around me anymore and the music becomes alive in my ears. Haven't listened to them at 3/4 but im sure it'll sound good. I listened to it with all sorts of genre, and in my opinion, it is great. One thing that can be worked on is the noise the line makes when rubbing against anything. If yo have the volume on low, the rubbing noise is super intense and loud in your ear, but if you go past the 1/4 volume on the iphone, the rubbing noise does go away. I use the 2nd biggest earpiece and it fits perfectly. I like the play/pause button, it works like magic. I say that because i use it to use Siri. I can just press and hold the play/pause button to ask Siri to read and send messges without even takeing out my phone, which is great because my hands are usually messy. I use it to listen to music when i sleep too and they do not hurt my ears at all when im laying on my side. Overall, great sound, great feel, very light weight and comfortable. Besides the noise issue if in low volumes, anyone who picks this up i believe will enjoy them for the price you pay. Dont forget the 3 year manufacture warranty that comes with it, tell me that isn't the darnest deal ever. That was the selling point for me because i use them a lot, not abuse, but use.

Incredibly Impressed -- they're actually comfortable!

    • Written by from Brooklyn

These are the best earbuds I have ever purchased. The sound is really good, the buttons on the mic are sufficiently differentiated (I hate to try to push "play" and hit "volume" because all the buttons feel totally the same) and best of all, they are actually comfortable!!! I have very small ear canals and the headphones come with numerous silicone buds that make these a great fit for most any size. Only complaint (and it is minor) is that the cord is much longer than normal (from tip to tip, almost 5 feet long) so it's more likely to get tangled.

    Fantastic Headphones

    • Written by from DALLAS

I've bought many really expensive in-ear headphones, including Bowers & Wilkins. I was always disappointed in the sound quality based on the broad range of music I listen to. I bought these for $50 and was blown away. Handles bass very well and sounds great with acoustic tunes.

Don't hesitate to buy these. I'm glad I did!

Great if you don't mind shutting out the world.

    • Written by from Edmonton

Earbuds hang in your ears and let you stay connected to the outside world. These in-ear headphones shut you right out. Which can be a good thing.

The headphones come with extra rubber covers, and the size makes all the difference. Too small and the earphones were really uncomfortable -- like someone was stabbing my eardrum. Too big and they wouldn't sit right and sounded weird. I liked the middle ones. Also, when they fit the scratching noise from the cord is less an issue. Sound is definitely better than the ipod buds, but they're a different animal.

The mic for the phone works pretty good too.

    Outstanding product

    • Written by from New York

I bought this not ever having even heard of RHA, so I was a bit wary. I must say it exceeded all of my expectations in terms of sound, usability, build quality, cord length, reliability, abundance of earpieces for all shapes and sizes, and overall design. I like it much better than the Apple in-ear that it replaced. There is a great deal less sub-sonic interference from the cloth cord than from the Apple's plastic cords (you're much less likely to hear the wires rubbing against your clothes).

The part where this fell a little bit short was the packaging. The "carrying case" is an amorphous little pouch that is not useful, and the generous supply of earpieces came in a flimsy box that becomes useless upon opening it. These are small insignificant inconveniences in the context of the overall quality, and I would definitely recommend this product for the price.

    Excellant Quality

They are as good as advertised. Actually better. I now have no problems as I did with Apple's earphones of them falling out every other second. They are definitely noise canceling which is nice when little children are in the area.

    Great headphones!

    • Written by from Palm beach gardens

I thought in order to have noise-cancelling headphones I would need to invest in bulky, ugly Beats-style headphones. These are small and unobtrusive like the standard iPod headphones, except they really block out external noise and transmit solid, clear sound. They also have a volume adjuster on them which makes them unique for headphones of this size and style.

I also like the fabric cord-it feels distinctive when I'm blindly searching for them in my bottomless purse.

I do wish they were a little bit shorter-sometimes they get caught on things and get yanked out of my ear, and sometimes I think I hit the volume control and they get randomly really loud (but that's my problem).

All in all a great gift and great headphones for the money!

Great product and excellent customer service

    • Written by from Seattle

Picked it up in Barcelona last summer to replace other noise-isolating earphones, whose plastic cable tore off after about a year of fairly careful use. An Apple store employee recommended these (MA450) because the cable is fabric woven. The quality of sound is quite impressive, comes with a variety of ear tips to ensure good fit, the mic and controls work fine. After about 7 months of use, people started telling me that there is heavy echo when speaking with me, and it turned out to only be the case when I was using these earphones. Emailed RHA support, sent a copy of the Apple store receipt and received a brand new retail packaged replacement within days - no questions asked. Truly a great product at the right price backed by impressive customer service.

    Good for the money.

    • Written by from Flushing

Surprisingly good sound for a lower priced in-ear set. After breaking it in for about 2-3 days the bass is nice and pretty strong, clear and doesn't muddy up the rest of the spectrum. The trebles take some time to settle down but can still be a bit harsh at times but I've found out that the Comply Foam take care of this for the most part. The build quality of the housing, mic and cable are very good and have a premium feel to them. Despite being a braided cable there is no sign of kinking up or cracking but they can get tangled and the straight plug isn't really ideal.
