I look after our company's computers and these are a super simple way to incrementally upgrade your existing hardware to the Macs. Recently bought a bunch for the first group that got new Macs and will be ordering more soon as we upgrade the rest of the office.

This is a great product. I bought it to use for editing in FCP on my iMac and with my two RAID arrays. It's been working like a charm. The speeds are great. For me it was worth every penny.

What can I say, it does exactly what Lacie says it will. I connected two esata hard drives to the Lacie hub and then from the hub to my MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt and it worked great. Plug and play, NO drivers required and very fast speeds. I was also able to daisy chain two of these devices together, since they have two thunderbolt ports, and connect three esata devices. I had two drives and a card reader, worked great.

I use this hub together with a couple of eSata drives. It's truly plug-and-play, and I've had no problems with it in more than three months now. The speeds increased several times. The hub does exactly what it says on the tin. All in all good value and simply a good product!

Bought this to use with my MacBook Pro. It works great. Easy to setup. Good speeds. I use it with RAID drives via eSATA interface to store media archives. It's a great way to make the most of the Thunderbolt connection. So far I'm very pleased!

Picked up one of these after upgrading my MacBook Pro. I was curious to see how it would work and whether there would be a significant increase in speed. After a couple of months of everyday use, I haven't had one problem with the hub. It does exactly what it says on the tin - fast, reliable and I can keep using my existing eSata drives.

I love how easy this was to set up. Just plug it in. It turns itself on and off, you just handle your drives and ignore it! Working with one raid drive and one non-raid at the same time through the hub is going really well thus far. It's already noticably faster then running through an express card like i used to.

This hub works great! I've connected my two eSATA drives to it. The speed has improved significantly. Now I can relax and just work on my projects, without waiting for the "hang time". It's a powerful tool.

I'll admit, I had doubts before buying this unit but my initial concerns have long gone. The hub works seamlessly with my new iMac, I'm now able to quickly and painlessly use my existing eSATA drives to store, view and backup my data. The boost in performance is pretty impressive. Great product, overall.

I didn't think I could setup a software RAID for multiple drives on my Mac but it turns out that with this Hub it's possible. The backups are very speedy with this setup compared to my old system. I can finally rest easy about my data!

I'm very glad I got this hub. Plenty of times I found myself in need of transferring files from my eSata drives to my iMac, and this hub took care of that remarkably well. Way faster than USB. Awesome!

The LaCie eSATA Hub works great! I have an OWC Mercury Quad Interface and the latest Newertech Maximus 3.5 enclosure (USB 3, eSATA, etc) connected to the eSATA Hub and the transfer rates are pretty much as fast as you would expect for eSATA. This really breaths new life into external enclosures and will give you speeds more comparable to internal sata hard drives.

This product worked well right out of the box. It allows really nice transfer speeds, and works perfectly with my eSata drives. I copied 4TB worth of RAW pictures from one drive to another way faster than it used to take with Firewire. Its a very handy tool for anybody who needs to transfer large amounts of data.
