    I own several Bose products and I love them all, but I'm very disappointed in the sound and product quality of my headphones. The headphones are all plastic except for the leather. I'm returning these and buying the Bowers & Wilkins.

    These headphones are amazing! I travel a lot and absolutely hate to fly! These have completely eliminated my flight anxiety. I can actually focus on my music/movies on my ipad without hearing people talking, engine noises, captain interruptions, etc. Anyone who hates traveling really should own these. I can finally sit back and actually enjoy the quiet time in the air with my music and movies.

    The name of product says it all - comfort. These are the only pair of headphones my wife actually likes. Why? 100% comfort. The ear cushion material is incredibly soft. The band does not apply much pressure (making every Beats headphones feel like clamps). It is simply put - the most comfortable pair of headphones my wife has ever worn.

    If you want sound quality, you will never buy Bose or Beats. These are "good" not "great" for sound quality, but for comfort they are best in class.

    I've owned a few different headphones and I have to say these are the best I've ever owned. I was skeptic at first since they were on ear, but now I can say I'am satisfied with these headphones and give props to Bose for another great product. If money isn't and issue I really recommend these without doubt.

    I used it with iPod classic, and the sound was great. The volume limit for iPod is better compare with iphone 4. Which is quite small volume. The noise cancelation feature is good. Maybe the price will be the issue for this product. This product is bloody expensive.

    I'm a long time user of the Quiet Comfort (first gen) over the ear head phones and then "upgraded" to these last year. I paid the extra and got the mic line so I can use this with my iPhone 4S to make calls and listen to music. Music is fine, no better that the older Quiet Comfort. I'm never that confident the mic is working well (feedback from callers) so I have to lift it up to my mouth to carry on a conversation. A bit annoying because the whole idea is about having my hand free. When the battery dies you have to wait a few hours to change them before you can use them. For the price Bose asks I have to say I'm going to look elsewhere for my next headset. The market is too competitive and Bose's premium is no longer cutting it for me.

    I dont know what the guy in the previous review was talking about but these headphones dont come with a mic so that could be his problem. I have used these for over a year and do excessive traveling, they work great on international flights to help reduce the plane noise. Sound quality is great and volume levels are perfect. I would buy these again and I would recommend them.

    I have been used the AKG brand the volume and base was amazing and going to buy the bose noise cancelling but after test i cancelled this great brand because the volume and base was like cheap \ normal headphones and just noise canceling and quality of body material and design by BOSE logo waz hreat and best seen ever

    i really wish i could just return this junk back to apple store ... like really at this pricetag

    1) output level is LOW - everything has to be listened to on max volume
    2) the microphone is mounted in such a position you literally have to hold it to your mouth for the counter party to hear anything .

    if anyone affiiated with apple stores is reading this your help returning it would be greatly appreciated.
