    Great Speakers with great sound

    we live in a house from the 1700's - we have a kitchen with a balcony around it and a high ceiling. The sound is amazing we have tried others in this configuration with out success using blue tooth. The distance from the speakers can be between 20 and 35 feet with out a problem.

    The air play works great was very easy to connect and we can control the speakers with our i phones or I pads or even the air mac in my office off the balcony.

    Best thing ever happening to my digital music collection!

    These visually stunning speakers easily fill out even large living rooms with very crisp sound and an amazing bass. The wifi connection to my iPhone and iPad was set up in minutes and has worked smoothly for a week without a single interruption. Very convenient and certainly better than any Bluetooth based system I have tried.

    While on the pricy side, these speakers are absolutely phenomenal!
    The best thing ever happening to my digital music collection!

    Amazing Sound From A8

    The A8 has amazing sound and great connections. I have i-Mac, i-Phone and i-Pad and use them all as well as the AirPlay. As far as the lighting connector the guys at Bang&Olufsen Atlanta told me I could sign up on Beo-Play to get a Free connector. What other company or dock can you use both old and new connections. I got what I paid for which was great service and sound.

    Won't work with new connectors

    I bought this at the same time I bought the new MacMini, only to discover that it will not work with the new connectors apple has now put on the Mac Mini and I assume any future products. It is a beautiful set of speakers, but for $1000, not having the ability to dock your products becomes rather ridiculous, like the new unnecessary connector they put on. Unfortunate, but certainly not worth the money if you can't use the dock.

    so much bass broke window

    i bought these because they looked good (except for the price, but worth it). because i live in a 1900's house and the windows are weak. i put them in the kitchen next to the window and played jayz. when i went to change the song there was a big crack in the window. to be sure that it was the speakers and not the house i took them to the bathroom and did the same thing in the kitchen. overall look great have good sound. my only warnings are keep them away from windows if you live in an old house

    Sound quality that you must hear to believe!

    I bought this unit after already owning the original beosound 8 and a bunch of other docks which I've since given away. The deep rich sound that B&O recreates with these one piece units actually sounds better than some separate systems I've owned. Bass so deep but at the same time delicate imaging and precision, you must hear the A8 to believe how good it sounds.
    I like the fact that I can charge my iPad on it while streaming my music from my iPhone thru AirPlay and when I turn my tv on, it plays thru the A8 with great clarity. This one is the total package.

    Looks nice but not worth the money. Can get just as good if not better sound quality at half the price with Beats. Also not BlueTooth connected.

    I have had this unit for about a month now and the sound and look are both outstanding with such a clarity and a real punch to the base. Very little distortion at maximum volume; just amazed! Had a Bose previously but this unit blows them out of the water big time! Well done B&O!!
