Reviews for Sena 11" Folio Case for MacBook Air

I've had this case for almost 2 weeks and have been very pleased with it. I had been holding out for an attractive case for my 11'' MBA for the past 7 months and am very glad to have found this one. It is sleek, has smooth quality leather, and doesn't add much bulk to the machine.

Very well padded, great feel, and exudes quality leather. Fit and finish is near perfect. Like the leather covering the palm rest area very much. The elastics holding the display lid could've been made thicker with more grip, thus latch on better. The two front corners by the palm rest area are exposed, as the leather is cut out, that's the only weak spot if it were to fall right on a corner it might sustain a little damage.

Is it worth it's price? For the most part yes, as it offers very good insurance and peace of mind. Can't say enough how much more convenient it is to carry my Air now that it's in a folio case, simply close the lid and you're good to go anywhere with it. No need to fuss over putting it into a case, and removing the case, exposing it bare when you need to use it. Can't get as simple and as convenient as the Sena folio case.

Would I buy again if I had to chance to decide again? Without second thought, especially knowing what I know now.

As for heat, I have not experienced the fan turning on, or at least no more audible than it was prior to it being in the case. I am sure under heavy load though the case may act as an insulator and trap heat in, thus thermals may not be as ideal under prolonged heavy load. For what I use it for though, light email, web browsing, light casual gaming, it's a non issue for me.

I have had this case since July 31, 2012 and LOVE it! I bought a new MAC Book air after retiring and have used this computer and case everyday since. Bring it on planes for vacations and everywhere in the house! It is sleek, beautiful, rich looking and has never damaged my computer.....not sure what the other folks are talking about and I hope I do not find out!
