    Best workout headphones

    As a larger runner who sweats copiously, these are the only headphones that have stayed in my ears for more than 1 city block. Apple EarPods (iPhone 5) and In-Ear headphones have never stayed in my ears, even for just walking around the house. Medis PLUS's open air design helps you stay aware of your surroundings by letting in some ambient sound and if you get the cords caught on something, they pop out of your ear with no trauma. Not the most perfect sound production, but they're loud enough to rock out while you work out. Excellent value when cross-shopping with similar designs. Only major fault: no microphone.

    The Best

    Urbanears Medis PLUS are GREAT!

    I was ready to give up and have a custom pair of monitor type headphones made by a Audiologist. Every type and kind of headphone I've tried fell out during my gym workout. Finally, a design that works.

    I love these headphones for two big reasons. First, they hook to your ear, rather than stuffing inside of your ear. The ones that stuff inside your ear are terrible because then you can hear it every time you bump the cord, or even breathe. For running, that is a terrible thing. Since these headphones dont plug up your earhole, none of that noise comes through.

    But the second, and BIGGEST reason I love these headphones is beacuse i am using them right now and they sound amazing, DESPITE the fact that yesterday, I accidentally put them throughthe clothes washer AND dryer! I was horrified when I realized what I had done! But they still sound wonderful :)

    I may buy a second pair so that I have one at home and one in my truck.

    oh, and I LOVE the braided cord!!!

    Amazing

    I just ran a full marathon with these headphones, and they felt great the whole way. They are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn for running! I have recommended these to all my running buddies.

    After going through 3 pairs of Apple brand headset, I decided to spend more and try a different product. The sound is great, they are very comfortable, and I don't feel like I shoved something in my ear. The remote mic works great for making phone calls. I love that the cord is made of cloth and not plastic, which seems to make it less prone to tangles and easier to untangle when they do become tangled.

    Stay in my ears!

    This is literally the only headset that I have found that will stay on when I run. I tend to sweat a lot when working out and every other headset I've ever used has gotten out of place during activity. These stay where they are supposed to when you are moving around. The sound quality (particularly the base) could be a little better, but you won't find it any better on a headset that is not in your ear....and those don't stay in place when I'm active so the better sound becomes irrelevant. I highly recommend these. BTW, the clothe cord is a major bonus to keep from being tangled. The mic quality is also very good (I use mine for quite a bit of speech recognition dictation as well). Solid purchase!

    6 or 7 headphones later....

    Finally found a pair that won't fall out or have to hook over my ears. These stay in when I'm running, feel comfortable, and deliver well-rounded sound. Very happy with them so far (3 weeks or so).

    Best Ear Buds for Working Out

    These are the only ear buds I’ve used that don’t fall out when working out. Additionally, the sound is very full and rich. Better sound than any ear buds I’ve used in the past. This is largely due to the bigger driver. The apple remote works great and the cord doesn’t tangle. Highly recommended!

    Very Nice

    I had these for a few days now and am using them hard. They feel good in the ear and can ware them for hours at a time. What I like about them is the click in the ear feature. I had the one that fit in the ear canal and they are nice. But block to much of the out side noise. When walking out side I like to hear what going on around me. These headsets fit that need and unlike the Apple Ear Buds these fit and have full sound.

    Ear click rocks!

    All in-ear canal headphones hurt my ears, plus they would pop out if I moved.. These are the most comfortable ear buds I've ever worn, plus the ear click means I've pulled on the cord and shook my head, and they do NOT fall out. They are not noise isolating, but I turn up the volume and it's fine.

    This is the best in-ear headphone that is out.

    Well, we've all had various headphones that you stick into your ear... most of them fit uncomfortably, and the shape alone would make me cringe because I hate shoving the rubber cutip-like ends into my ear.

    With this headphone, it is a completely new experience. The thing is, this clicks ONTO your ear - you don't shove it INTO your ear like everything else (including the Apple headphones).

    Besides comfort, the sound is amazing.

    Seriously this headphone beats any in-ear headphone on the market at ANY price. Buy it you will not regret it.

    I already have a few pair of the Platan Plus by Urban Ears, so when I saw they have an inear version I jumped on it! Little did I realize they have their own system for putting the headphones in your ears, that is awesome! These do not fall out of my ears when I am in the gym like other brands do and the sound quality is great!!!!

    Next Level Headphone

    I always seem to have problems with ear buds and headphones. The problem seems to be that they either fall off or my ears get sore. Urban ears is the first time I get great sound quality along with the buds that actually stay in! I go to the gym and work out no problem, go hiking no problem, use it with my headphone while driving no problem! This was made for people with active lives.

    Buds for whatever reason fall out of my ears but the way these lock in your ear I have no issues working out with these.

    The Urbanears Medis are the best in ear headphones out. I have waited so long for them to finally make one with the Apple remote as that was the only thing missing. I live in these things. The sound is great and I love how they don't go into your ear canal, but rather sit on there. My ears are small, so regular buds do not work for, so I need something like the Medis.
