I purchased two of these Mophie Juice Packs last Fall when my wife and I received our new iPhone 4S phones. We both love having that extra back up battery power. On average, our iPhones drained down in just over one day of use. We can easily add at least another one day of use with our Juice Packs if needed. If I had to search for any negatives, I'd have to say that the case is a bit slippery, but not bad. Plus, the Mophie doesn't add much weight or bulk to the iPhone. Highly recommended.

I purchased two of these cases from Amazon. The first was a counterfeit, the second was genuine but drastically different from the case design featured here despite being the "same" product. Finally, I contacted Mophie directly to figure out why the Apple store seemed to sell a completely different Juice Pack Air from what I saw even on Mophie's own site. The rep informed me that Apple has designed a Juice Pack (the one available here and in Apple retail stores) exclusive to their stores.

Features like:
-Slimmer and sleeker overall design
-OPEN top to allow easy access to power button and any headphones
-Bottom removable cap for easy dock access
-Top of Juice Pack Air is a Snap-In case that protects even when bottom cap is removed
-LED lights do not saty on contiuously while charging
-And overall MUCH better fit and finish

Are simply not available from any other retailer--including Mophie itself. Don't bother with the other retailers, but direct from Apple and get the ONLY Mophie Juice Pack Air designed by Apple for Apple. The difference is night and day.

Functionally, this unit does exactly what it claims. And it does it fast! I was at 11% when I purchased my Air at the Apple Store on my lunch hour. 20 minutes later, I was already at 35%.

Worked for a few months then stopped taking a charge. Unless you are in to buying one every few months, I would find something else to waste my money on.

I'm not typically an accessory purchaser, particularly with my iPhone because I truly love the form factor of the device. That said, I felt I wanted a little extra punch in the battery department, and the mophie Juice Pack has been great! On top of the battery charge I get from the phone, the Juice Pack, when full, gives my phone a 65-70% charge essentially giving me another full day of use, or with heavy use, a SOLID day. My only complaint, also echoed by others, is getting the phone loaded into the device. It obviously can be done, but the directions really are vague. I accidentally got mine open, meaning I don't know that I could do it again intentionally, on the first try anyhow. I also have large hands and the phone with the mophie in place does feel better when I'm using it. If you are in question about the purchase, it does deliver.

I've had 2 or 3 of these now. They're great in the beginning, but as many have pointed out after a few months they start to act funky (making strange noises like when one try to connect the charger). Plus the charge does not hold.

I do like the robust outer case for when I drop the phone, although apparently a drop at the correct angle will still smash the display.

I expect more from this product. Improve it. Fit it.

Mine lasted 6 months- it was great when it worked. It stopped charging suddenly- and then despite wiggling the micro usb, it stopped completely. This seems to be a common problem. For this price, I don't think a year of use would be too much to ask.

I have had this case for about 6 months now and it has never worked as it is described on the package. The charge is so bad now that when I turned it on to charge my phone earlier tonight it charged it for about 30 seconds and my battery percentage went up from 28% to 29%. Im actually convince that the thing is taking charge from my phone and storing it and when i turn it on it just puts the charge it took from my phone and puts it back into the phone. Ever sunce i git this thing my battery has been getting sucked out of my phone.If you're willing to spend $80 on a piece of junk then this mophie juice pack thing is screaming your name. Don't make the same mistake I did.

After at least 3 or 4 months the battery starts getting weaker, but this product is a good way to charge if your iPhone needs some extra power.

This is an outstanding product manufactured by Mophie. I have had one for each of my Apple IPhones (1,2,3,and 4s). Since using them I have never run out of battery. It will make your Apple IPhone even more efficient because you will not be concerned with loss of battery. It has 5 led's that let you know how much battery you have in reserve. It is better than having 2 seperate batteries. GREAT PRODUCT! GREAT COMPANY!

Double my battery life is awesome and makes this a must-have accessory, but it's a drag that in order to use my iPhone integration connector (30 pin) in my car, I have to remove the iPhone from the Mophie case. Wish there were a 30-pin female to micro-USB adaptor anywhere (searched high and low and can't find one that'll pass thru, even though the Mophie can pass thru the other way!) and then all would be right with the world
