I adore my HEX Solo Wallet Case! It's ideal for carrying just the essentials whether I'm making a corner store run or hitting the gym.

Pros: sleek, leather is comfortable, warm and soft, frame seems quite sturdy, fit is excellent, and overall, the case feels quality build

Cons: can't really fit two cards in it. Makes the case quite bulky if anyone is able to fit two cards in it. Made in China.

I recently bought an iPhone 4s and was looking for a case. I previously had a palm pre, which I adored so much but was becoming a bit slow with touch response. Anywho, my palm pre came with a soft stylish pouch that I found out that I could use to store my cards as well (office card and metropass). They all fit there very well, and I didn't even have to bring my wallet whenever I needed to bring a credit card or a debit card or both with the other two cards and my palm pre already in it.

And so, I looked everywhere for a case for my new iPhone that would also have a pouch, but I didn't want something with flaps or too much leather as they're really hard to maintain needing a lot of special concoctions that only witches could brew to make them all shiny and new again.

I then stumbled on this one. I really like it for several reasons:

1) the outside is made of leather, and the description even says that it's genuine leather. It feels better than the actual glass back of the iphone as it's not cold to hold, and it's quite comfortable to grip for long periods of time.

2) I could put in my metropass and a credit card at the back. Although, BE WARNED!!! Even though there are two slits at the back for obviously two cards, both cards need to be quite thin for them to both fit. I was only able to fit one creditcard in it without making it quite bulky, and forget about my office pass because that alone makes the back quite bulky already and it's only 1.5 times thicker than a creditcard.

3) I don't know what the frame is made off, but I'm hoping it's not some cheap plastic or god forbid a cardboard. The frame does feel quite sturdy and grip the iphone well. The iphone hasn't slipped out of its frame yet. I also don't know if this case is supposed to protect the phone in case the phone slips off my hand because I haven't really dropped it on the floor yet.

4) It doesn't seem to get dirty quite easily. Mine hasn't gotten dirty or look dirty since I got it this February.

Overall, I gave it 4 stars. If only I could really fit two cards in it (metropass + office pass or metropass + creditcard), I would have given it 5 stars!!! Also, it's made in China. I hate when things are always made in China. There are tons of products made in China that are really bad quality, but this one seems to hold itself together.

Say goodbye to your wallet. Slot for your credit card and ID. Only thing you need on a night out on the town. Love it!

After 2 month of use leather on the corners and right side rub off to holes. Can I get my money back?

After facing the need to replace my 2nd Hex Code wallet within 6 months, I have to say this is not the product to buy. Though the idea of combining your wallet with your phone is lovely, since you have both with you anyway, and a nice stylish leather one is ideal, this case comes apart rather quickly. The threads break free, then the wax edgings around the leather edges come off, and then the plastic corners that hold the phone in place split.

i havent had any issues with my hex case. it rules. clean and slim design. lives either in my pocket or banging around in my bag and after three months still good as new. i dont know what happened to some of these other people's cases, mine is beyond all good. thanks hex, i love it.

The cheap plastic in the case nearly stained my white iphone black on the edges...it took me 20 straight minutes of nonstop scrubbing with some cleaner and a cloth to remove the damage. Being that cases are supposed to preserve a new phones look and this happened on the second day of its use, I found this case terrible as it left my phone in worse condition than if i had used no case at all.

Absolutely love this case. Enhances iPhone form while remaining slim; barely notice it's there. Phone is easier to handle now. Leather quality seems good. HEX must have updated the design because I can definitely fit 2 cards, and the case does not get in the way of the charger while plugged in (contrary to 2 other reviews).

The concept of the thin case holding a couple of cards is spot on. However, I've had my Hex Solo for a mere 4 months and it's falling apart. The leather has worn through to the plastic inner case around the rim. Due to its high cost, I am resorting to glue to stretch its usefulness. I wish I could find another brand that employs the same feature.
