I traveled frequently, so I can not see my children and my wife. I bought a ibaby monitor, so I can easily watch my lovely children and my wife. Whenever I have free time and wifi, I just love to click the apps on my iphone, so I can see and heart what my wife and my children are doing. No matter how far away I am from them, I can always feel we are next to each other.

After reading some of these reviews on here, you would think this product is awful. I suspect that most of the bad reviews can be attributed to a bad home network, lack of network knowledge, or impatience in learning how to use the product.

I set up this product as recommended in the included manuals by first connecting the camera to my main router. From there, setup was easy but I wanted to make this camera securely accessible from anywhere on the web. I was able to install the free App on two iPhones, an iPad, my MacBook Pro, and an old HP laptop without a problem. I created accounts for the grandparents to look in on our daughter's nursery with limited access. Using a DNS service, I was able to give them an easy address and coach them through the setup.

We are very pleased overall with the image quality and build of the camera. The software gets the job done without being bubbly and dumbed down. The alerts defintely work (maybe too well) but take some fine tuning. Not a bad investment at all.

I read many reviews before spending $200 on this monitor and I am glad I followed the decent reviews instead of the negative ones.

It took me about 5 minutes to setup the monitor. A lot easier than I thought. I called my sister and had her add the camera using the camera's DDNS, username and password on her iPhone. Pretty cool feature.

Awesome product!

Excellent product and is so SOOO easy to set up!! Had this set up in about 5 minutes on PC, my iPad and wifes iPhone. You need to set it up on the PC first with an ethernet cable running from the monitor to the modem / router and then once this is done you need to download the app for iPad / iPhone app and do it wirelessly - if you try to do it wirelessly from the start it will not work.

Tested against other popular WiFi model monitors. UNBIASED REVIEW:
SET UP: Very easy! Only 4 incredibly simple steps! And if you unplug it to move it, no re-setup needed. Starts working right away.
PICTURE: Not the best, not the worst. Frankly, was expecting much better for the price. Night vision was decent. Good enough to see your baby, but you won't be hunting deer with it.
PRICE: No beating around, price is bad. Real bad. $199 seems much considering there are ones half that price with the same features.
RELIABILITY: This is where it shines! Amongst the other popular WiFi models, it's the only one that worked 100% of the times! WiFi... LTE... Worked every time!
FUNCTIONALITY: Pan/tilt/live feed function has about 1-2 second delay average, but is actually the quickest of them all. Motion/noise sensor was decent.
VERDICT: Received 5 stars due to one lone reason... Reliability. We tend to get wrapped up in features available to us on new technologies. But we mustn't forget the sole purpose of a baby monitor... To monitor our baby. Therefore, if one doesn't work every time, it doesn't matter what it "can" do. Price is high, but worth every penny for a piece of mind!

This monitor is the best one we have had. You do not need to run a Ethernet cord for the monitor to work, which I had originally thought. After you set the monitor up with the Internet connection in your home, you unplug the cord and can place the monitor anywhere in your home. My husband travels a lot and with this monitor he can stay more connected with his daughter.

I've always wanted a monitor that I could take view from anywhere. iBaby gave me that opportunity. I really love that it doesn't need to connect to any router/modem. If done correctly you can use it wirelessly. You can also use multiple monitors at once, on one device.

Plus for iphone users who always have their phone on them.. they'll always have their baby with them as well.

This monitor works exactly as promised. The app allows me to access the camera on my iPhone when away from home, both on WiFi and 3G. Customer service from this company is wonderful. I initially had a problem accessing from outside my WiFi network and emailed them. They answered me IMMEDIATELY with detailed, step by step instructions that were easy to follow and specific to my Airport Extreme router. I do agree that the instructions and information supplied on the app itself seem to be a literal translation from Chinese and are almost comical to read. But if you email the company, they are VERY helpful! I am VERY happy with this monitor, AND with the customer service from this company!

Best thing EVER!! Quality rocks and you can turn and rotate just tons of awesome things! SOOO clear and you can take cute pictures too! We love it cause my sweet husband while at work can spy on us and watch his little girl sleeping or me rocking her. We both have iphones and so does grandma so she can watch her grandbaby too!

Recently I bought this iBaby Monitor for my sister and her newborn baby. She told me that her husband loves this product very much, since he can see and even "talk" (Of course, the baby cannot say, just listen, smile and murmur some meaningless words) to his daughter wherever he is. He does not worry about his wife and daughter any more when he is out of home, all he needs to do is open the iBaby App on ipad.
