    Didn't fit my excersize bike.

    • Written by from Tewksbury

Oh well. I am able to use it if I tie the swing arms to my bike. It is an older bike but has a panel on the front of it, unfortunately not a big enough panel for the arms of the mount.

Plus, I like the fact that it safely adheres to the black tape strips, but the ipad tends to get stuck to them if left on the mount for too long, even just 24 hours.

    Works for Mini

    • Written by from Portland

Purchased this for my mini and it works great. There is a piece of material in the middle/back of the mount with a lip on it to hold your ipad securely in place. If you wrap this piece of cloth around the bottom rung before fitting it over the top of the mini it fits perfectly. Great purchase! Great angle for desktop. Ordering one of my Fella who unfortunately does not exercise but travels a lot so he can use it as a stand to watch movies while traveling.

    Good but not perfect

    • Written by from Oroville

This product is good. It fits on most exercise machines. I have one complaint. It would be nice if you could attach this to your machine vertically. Some apps (such as couch to 5k), and magazines on iBooks and nook app only stay vertical. This exercise mount stays horizontal which makes it impossible to read.

    Not what it's for

    • Written by from Hyattsville

I bought this because I needed something to use to write proposals when on a job. It hooks to my steering wheel (NOT WHILE DRIVING) and holds my iPad so that I can work in my car. Very sturdy and packs away small. They don't advertise it for this use but they should.

    Great product

    • Written by from Ballston Lake

I bought this product for use with an at-home NordicTrack elliptical machine and the new iPad (3rd gen). The iPad fits well in the exercise holder, and it's secure. I did not remove the plastic wrap from the black sticky pads on the Exercise Mount, as other reviews I read complained that dust, etc. stuck to them when not in use. This seemed to have no effect on how secure the iPad was in the holder- once clipped in, the iPad wasn't going anywhere. Happy with the purchase.

Awesome to fight the boredom (and the commercials) on the treadmill

    • Written by from Cambridge

Bought this item yesterday and tried it out twice on the treadmill, it's pretty awesome. Finally I can watch my favorite shows and movies while running...and finally i don't have to settle for TV shows, news interrupted by tons of commercials.
The iPad mount seems very stable and the way it is engineered, it is pretty much guaranteed that it won't fall off the treadmill. Furthermore it is very compact and can be transported to the gym rather easily in the pouch which comes with it.

The only downside is the price: 50 Dollars for this item is way too much; 30 Dollars would be more appropriate.

    Happy running.

    Total junk

    • Written by from KERROBERT

There is no way this is worth $50. The stick grip pads leave gummy residue on your ipad/case. It is imitation metal and should have been priced in the $5.00 range. No value whatsoever. The only thing I did like was the strap. The only star is for the strap otherwise I would have given it zero stars.

Finally! This is exactly what I've been looking for!

    • Written by from Chicago

Hands down great product. I've been searching for something like this since I bought my iPad 1 and it's finally here. It's holds steady to the treadmill, even while running and when the treadmill shakes a little, and I've never had a problem with it. Its particularly great for use on exercise machines that already have some sort of monitor at eye level - it hooks right over the top. Great product, I'd recommend it to anyone. Makes walking/running on a treadmill or using an elliptical so much easier when I can watch tv shows and movies the whole time!
Only product suggestion I might add to make it more versatile would be to give it telescoping hooks so that if someone's monitor or surface is thicker it can be adjusted to fit. Luckily all the machines at my gym fit this product just fine.
