Very disappointed.

The product looks great, but it will not charge my iPad 2. It seems like the stand connector isn't long enough to reach the iPad 2. I am awaiting an answer from support.

I received this as a Christmas gift. When I tried to set up my iPad "3" to charge, the connection did not persist. I had to hold down the iPad to force the connection. Speaking with my local Apple Store folks, they said there was a "trick" to getting the iPads to house.

I reached out to Mophie, and they immediately offered to swap a new model, since I was under warranty, which was nice of them, but as I am about 5 minutes away from the store where the Power Stand was purchased, I had the model swapped.

The second Power Station won't even connect. At least the first one might have worked if I wrapped the iPad in super-sized rubber bands.

At this point, I can't keep swapping out power stands hoping one might work, so I will be returning this. It's really a shame because it is a great design. But Mophie should have done a much, much better job in Q/A before rating this for the latest iPad.

This is a beautiful product except for one flaw; it doesn't work and will not charge. As a stand it works fine; but as a charger it is a complete failure. Apparently it was designed for the original iPad and will not work with later versions. Apple needs to remove this product from its stores ASAP.

Got this stand home and connected everything, only to find that (contrary to the advertising) it won't charge my iPad. After having checked this website and learning that many people have this same issue, why is Apple still selling the defective product? At the very least, they should make it clear to customers that if they're planning to use it with an iPad 2, there's a good chance that the charging feature may not work. Now I have to drive back to the Apple Store tomorrow and return it. Disappointing experience.
