Reviews for MICHAEL Michael Kors Horizontal Tote for MacBook Pro

I love Michael Kors' MK monogram design and since I already have the MK wristlet iPhone case (which I recommend) I wanted to buy the matching tote. Under the description it says that the material is synthetic so this is not real leather as some people who have reviewed this (other sites) have described.
I have a 15" MacBook Pro which does not fit snug as described, but once it is in the compartment it is a few inches off the sides. I don't mind this because at least the corners of the macbook will not poke out of the tote. I'd like to remind people who do not fully read the description that this is designed only for 15" MacBook Pro because I noticed complaints that it is too big for their 13" macbook (there is a reason why there is a vertical version of this tote). But if you really want a wider tote then go for this since it is the same price anyway. It is bigger than your average computer case, but if you have more than just your electronics to carry around then you will love the room this tote provides. I believe the classy design will make up for its size. Along with the MacBook compartment are the two main ones which you can put even more junk :) There are extra pockets for an e-reader, iPad (I can fit an iPad 2 with a slim Speck case), iPhone (I have a 4S with a bulky Speck Candy Shell case), zipper pocket, side pockets (which do not get tight even if you have your MacBook inside the tote, and a few more for you to fit your plugs and camera. I admit that the bag will become uncomfortable and too heavy for you to carry if you stuff too much inside, but it's do-able and can fit a lot of things as long as you don't mind lifting it. Also, I agree that the straps may get uncomfortable to wear on your shoulder if you put all your MacBook along with your iPad, etc, but you can adjust the strap (there are three holes) and just carry it like a suitcase.
Buy this If you want to go to school or work in style and if you love the MK monogram design. The downside is the price but you cannot expect it to cost any less since MK is highly popular. So if you are willing to break your piggy bank savings then go for it, it is a good investment. Fashion meets function, period.

I walked into the store last night looking for this purse. I had been eyeing it on the website, and after work yesterday I thought "Why the heck not? I work hard for what I want!" Instantly fell in love. I mean Michael Kors and my MacBook - two of my favorite things! Definitely a must have! This will also be used as an everyday purse, when i'm not carrying around my MacBook! Don't think too much about purchasing this item, just go for it!

I received this bag as a completely unexpected Christmas present. I usually like to pick out my own purses/bags because I am so particular. As soon as I started playing with it I realized what a brilliant and perfect bag it is! It has a pocket for all of my devices, iPhone, iPad, and 15" MacBookPro as well as a perfectly fitted pocket for my wallet and random pens/lipstick. All I need to head out the door to work as opposed to my usual purse/computer bag/lunch bag combo... yes it can get a bit heavy but well worth the convenience!! Best gift yet!!

I got this for my valentines gift and have an ipad2 macbook and iphone they all fit! plus looks like a purse super cute!!!!!

Just got this tote and i LOVE it! Had seen it on MK and Apple site and neither does it justice!
I had originally ordered the pink Jetset tote for my 15" and didn't like the way it flared out at the top. I'm 5'5" and it seemed too big. This one is straight up and down and it "fits" much better under your arm and looks sleeker. It's also $50 less than the Jetset.
Back to looks, this tote is so well made and upscale looking that I am going to use it as my briefcase, even when I don't have my laptop with me. The leather trim (hard to show in pix) looks more upscale than the Saffiano leather the Jetset tote is made of and better than the same leather trim in smaller MK purses (guess it's because there is more of it.) The big charm is also more impressive than those on smaller purses, more like an accessory (like those sold for hundreds at Louis Vuitton).
Cant say enough about Apple service! They always make things right, even expediting delivery at no charge to help you get what you need when you need it! MK service, on the other hand, is cordial, but they aren't empowered to help you. Buy this from Apple!

This bag is roomy, it fits all my Apple devices and keeps them organized. I have the 13" MacBook Pro with cover, an iPad, and iPhone. I don't leave home without them. Now that I have this bag I always have the right device at the right time. I absolutely love this bag and its really fashionable. I definitely recommend this bag to anyone looking for a quality product for a good price.
