I've had my Mophie Juice Plus case for about 5 months and it's already broken. It was absolutely wonderful and useful while it lasted, but I wish it would have lasted longer for the 100 dollars I spent on it.

I had a MJPA for my iPhone 4S and was using it for a few months and it quit working. Since it was still within the 1 year warranty and I contacted Mophie, who sent me a new case. I just received my FOURTH replacement case and none of them work with my 4S. I tested the last one on my mom's iPhone 4 and it worked, but it's advertised to work with the 4 AND 4S. Not very happy with this product.

Even the USB cable that comes in the box would not sync the 4S to iTunes, although it would charge the Mophie and the iPhone. I tried another cable and it synced fine, so I blamed the original cable. Then it seemed like any USB cable I would plug into it when I wanted to charge the thing (I have them at the ready all over the house, as I suppose many folks do nowadays) would sometimes work and sometimes not. (Or would work for ten minutes and then quit.) You could "play around with it" and get it to go, but it became more bothersome every day and I hadn't even owned it a month.
So I decided that maybe the fault didn't lie with the male ends of the cables but rather with the female end that's situated inside the Mophie, so I brought it back and exchanged it. Just got it home, and here we go again. EVEN THE CABLE THAT COMES WITH IT IN THE BOX WON'T SYNC with iTunes, and using any of several other USB cables will sometimes charge and sometimes not. And For $80, seriously? How are these people still in business??
But, when charged, it's as if your phone will run forever -- you can forget that you're even using a battery at all!

This is an excellent addition to my iPhone 4s (4s guzzles power), and essentially doubles my battery life. I purchased on March 22. On about July 22 the power input broke. Mophie is replacing and covering shipping. You will need your receipt in order to file for warranty. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! I imagine Mophie has fixed the poor design problem (or else Mophie won't stay in business because Mophie will have to keep replacing defective products), so I'm hoping the replacement lasts longer than 5 months. I've missed the Mophie quite a bit - 4s really guzzles juice (as compared to my iPhone 4 with basically same configuration).

Great product but it needs to be reinforced with something that can protect the battery case/cover. I drop it the first time and the silver trimming that is around the jack ports broke. 80 bucks and no bumper. Can it be softer???? My husband and I travel alot and we find the time to use our phones more than less. This product helps with the battery life tremendously.

Just make it softer and give a warrenty for breaking. Please help I need a new one.

I have charged this product on my computer a few times and the extra charge never last...I will never by this product again

Good but one thing... the paint chips (even without being dropped or ect.)

I am very displeased with the Mophie juice pack air for the iPhone 4/4s. Upon buying my first i was ecstatic and very happy to use my new mophie, however I didn't really put it on until a while later. After three days of use the mine usb "port," was pushed back into the mophie, now i couldn't charge it, additionally after a measured 6 inch drop onto wooden flooring, paint was severely chipped off. this made me very depressed because the case was $80 and now that hard earned money had gone to waste. I used my warrantee and received a second mophie juice pack air, this time I assumed that the first mophie's problems were my fault. I treated this second one like a baby, every night I checked that the cord was right side up, i plugged it in ever so gently and in the morning I removed the plug and kept the mophie inside of a bag to keep it safe, the following night i did the same as the past, in the morning when i was gently removing the power cord from the "port," it would't come out, so i gently wiggled it and hoped for the best.
Still nothing so with a vigorous tug i managed to get the cord out but the port came with it along with bending the flimsy siding of the case, this rendered my mophie un chargeable and just a plain case.
I am planning on switching to a portable charging device from a different company, mophie products are seemingly put together sloppily and are made of flimsy week and cheap materials. Please talk to someone about this so that your company can truly say, "Mophie loves you."

The case has badly damaged my phone, theres really deep scratches in the metal on the side & in the glass back of the actual phone caused by taking it in & out of the case all going in straight lines, i got this case to protect my phone from scratches & I qoue the mophie site...

Good case, good battery, great for business travelers. I had the 1st gen case, the model with top that disconnects. Heads up, lots of stores online and retail, are still selling those model for the same price as the 2nd gen. Heck, morphine is still using the old pics on their website. Ordered from Apple online here, pic above is correct with the cutout on the top. This version now stays together, however it's still loose at times and where the two pieces meet could be a little better quality, but MUCH better then the first generation version that came apart constantly.
