    Excellent Sound But Cheap Construction

I've gone through about 5 Bluetooth headphones and these have the best sound quality. The in-ear silicone piece is excellent very comfortable and doesn't slip out of my ear unless I really do some serious head banging. But the headset feels and looks cheap. I think it's a bad design. Very dated looking. Also the power slide button isn't real decisive. On many occasions the button was inadvertently moved to on when I didn't realize it and drained the battery.

Bose does not put its name on junk, you will not be disappointed. I have owned similar devices by different manufacturers and this headset cannot be compared to any of them. Excellent design & engineering, it works as advertized.

I'm a big Bose fan, with a variety of lifestyle and portable products in my home and within the family. I was very dissatisfied with the first gen of the Bose BT headset due to the inability to use it outdoors (ex. walking across a parking lot) due to sensitivity to even the slightest amount of wind. I bought a generation 2 with the hopes that the advertising was accurate about it being largely immune to outdoor interference. While it is better than the original, it's still strongly affected by even a very slight breeze (far-end connection complains about loud wind noise). So, I've invested $300 into Bose BT headsets, but cannot use any of them anywhere other than when I'm sitting at home/office or in my car (which already has hands free).

I would not recommend this product until Bose improves wind noise rejection. I'm not asking that it work in a hurricane. But, it should not inject loud wind noise into the far end in a 5-10mph breeze.

My search has finally come to an end, it cost me a few bucks and trial and error along with a bit of stubbornness to get here but well worth it. This headset will not fall out of your ear, allow me to repeat that, they will not fall out of your ear on there own and if you find your self turning the place upside down looking for them...check your ear, very very comfortable and very light. With large and callused hands I can feel the positive contact on these perfectly sized buttons with my finger tip which is a first for me. The sound quality? Bose would not go this far without giving you this also, after all, it is there signature. It is always nice to cut corners where ever you can but here you will find that you get exactly what you pay for...plus some. I will give this headset five stars because this is all that is allowed. As usual...Bose delivers once again.

    Buy It. Nothing Else Compares.

I sometimes like to use my headset to listen to music in a social setting. I decided to leave feedback after listening to dubstep, yes dubstep, and it sounded awesome. I've never heard a bluetooth earpiece that actually had bass. Simply incredible. I've used jawbones, blue ants, plantronics, and more, and they are all good, but none come even close to the sound quality of this awesome product!

I have tried several different brands of Bluetooth headsets and this is by far the best one I've ever owned I can be walking or driving Through a tunnel and people are unable to tell. I have been told that it sounds like I am there. The noise cancellation on this device is as advertised.

Problems with Pairing to My iPhone 4

    • Written by from Mansfield

Big fan of iPhones (have a 5 for personal use and a 4 for work) and a huge Bose fan with multiple products. Currently have the Bose Gen 2 and it worked fine on my iPhone 5 and worked great on my previous BlackBerry. When my BlackBerry failed my company replaced it with the iPhone 4. The Bose headset does not work properly with the 4 for some odd reason. The complaint from others is that I "cut in and out" and they cannot hear me. The exact same thing happened to another person I work with when he transitioned from a BB to the iPhone 4. Contacted Bose support who suggested I update the Firmware but as it turns out I already have the latest version. They also suggested removing the BlueTooth from the iPhone and pairing it again. Tried that as well but the problem still exists. They also suggested powering off the phone which in this case doesn't apply as I fly almost every week and the phone is off a lot. After all this and discussions with two support techs I was told they have no other suggestions. Obviously not the answer I was looking for. Looks like I will be forced to go with a different BlueTooth.

No worth the money, or anywhere close

PROS: Bluetooth streaming sounds good, and yes, it does activate Siri with one push and no additional steps
CONS: Poor build quality, buttons and switches stink, multi-point is unreliable, Doesn't work properly with Macs or Skype, save your $150
