My wife and I took back a pair of the higher end Bose Headphones that were $300 for these ones instead. These headphones are great! They sound great , don't take batteries and come in a nice leather case. The sound you get from these headphones is not far off from the Noise cancelling ones for $299.95. Trust me I compared both of them back to back on my laptop and I kept these headphones instead!

Some times a higher price doesn't always mean a better product! These are the only headphones I would want from Bose!

Bought these a couple of months ago. The comfort level on these are insane! The pillow ear cups fit so nicely on your ears. They take time to get used to though. The sound is extremely clear. I used to have Beats Solo HDs and they can't even compare to the sound quality of the OE2i. The bass is definitely there if that's what you're looking for.

Really recommend this if you have the money to dish out!!

These headphones are absolutely great! The sound quality is amazing and they are far more comfortable than any solos or studios, the sound quality even beats out the solos and contends with the studios. They fit snuggly, they are light, the remote is great, i love the fact that i can remove the chord from the headphones! Well worth every cent! Great headphones!

The sound that comes out of these headphones is great. I tried several pairs, including the beats solo hd, and I settled for the Bose since they had the most balanced and clear sound out of all of the ones I tried on. They were also the most comfortable by far. Yes, the $179 price tag is on the high side, but when it comes to audio you often get what you pay for.

Apple mates. I sold headphones for KOSS back in the 1980's. I know quality and sound. Like the original "PortaPro", Koss used to make their units in their own Milwaukee factory, now they sell Chinese "junk". This set by BOSE is not junk. The design is excellent. Simple, not quite elegant but nice case, they fold easy and feel good in the hands. The sound with an iPhone is excellent. Put your EQ on OFF with these and the sound is even better. The best way to listen to any headphones is to put on your favorite music and close your eyes. Absorb the sound. Picture the instruments. Try to follow an instrument alone for several seconds. These are very, very good. The price as noted, might be about $25-$40 high, but this is 2012 and not 1984. You spend the money for the sound, these are very good to excellent.

Not the best ,but great for traveling

These headphones show some of the best sound quality most outlet stores will sell, not saying much it is a good headphone for the price I don't think the remote was completely necessary it was a great buy. They easily out class solos and iffy on studios. They have good base response for not being amplified (and yes studios and pros are amplified). They slip only if the band is not right and it will only leak if you have the volume past half on an apple. As i had a 3 hour flight I put the headphones on and it seamed like I was listening to my senhiesser audiophile headphones. Thought they don't have noise cancellation do you really need them for the surrounding distortion is minimal. The only true problem is with a loud volume the only thing you will hear is a faint bass and monophonic mid and highs (to be fair these aren't a set of cans that will output 3000watts.
Bottom line, great non-amplified headphones for traveling decent for the price.

Bose oe2i is good but some exceptions.....

The good thing about the headphones is that it has a crisp bass and you can actually clearly hear the music. Also, the built in microphone and iPhone controls help make your calls easier and to control the volume and to play/pause the track. It's good and all, but the thing is that if I turn up the volume of the headphones while listening to a music, I took the headphones for a second and I can hear the entire song even a bit far away u could still hear my song. Also, the headphones are but uncomfortable on the head part f the headphones due to the fact that it slips a lot. The price of the headphones is a major issue due to the fact that the headphones are not even noise canceling headphones. This headphone is cool and all, but I can quickly see some problems with it like not having noise canceling. Also, this headphone is expensive and I could have just got the Bose mie2i which costs $130 and still they beat the $179 Bose oe2i headphones.
