    I like these, but...

    • Written by from Round Rock

I've had these for over a year. Good stuff: They're the ONLY headphones that will stay in my ears. I find them comfortable. The sound quality is better than most but not perfect. Those reviews that say they can still hear back ground noise are right - and for a good reason. They're designed for running - so you can HEAR TRAFFIC. They're made like that on purpose. I wear them all day sitting in front of my computer & work out in them as well. Bad stuff: the rubber pieces do fall off easily. I have to be really careful not to lose them. Second, the cord tangles really easily. I know it's because it's that rubber material that makes them waterproof, but it's annoying. Yurbuds, please make some with a silky cord for non-work out use! And fix the rubber things so they don't fall off, please.

    Second pair failure

    • Written by from Warrenton

I have purchased two pairs of these and in both pairs the right ear has failed. They are great for the 6 months that work but I will never buy another pair.

    LOVE them

    • Written by from Harrisburg

I have never had success with earphones... the ones that went deep into the ear canal would always fall out, the ones that rested in the ear would fall out; however, yurbuds have been the ONLY earphones to have solved this problem. I couldn't be happier with this product and will be a loyal customer in the future.

    Returning these

    • Written by from Huntingdon Valley

I just bought these at the Apple store and tried them. First, the sound quality is really poor for the price. It's just a very flat, almost grainy sound. Second, the buds actually irritate my ear canal. I am using the smallest provided and it feels really uncomfortable. For the price, these should sound and feel better.

    Yur Buds

    • Written by from Seattle

Worked great for six months, then the right ear bud gave out. Having to jump through hoops for help from Yur Buds. I recommend not purchasing this product. $60.00 worth of a useless product. There is enough competition to find a like product that will outlast these ear buds.

    Yurbuds Ironman Series Cable Failed

    • Written by from Seattle

After the warranty was up 1.2 years the cable for my yurbuds failed and only one of the speakers still worked. At first it was intermittent and then the other ear pod speaker stopped working completely.

These earphones are not as robust as advertised and i would not recommend them for serious runners.

Best exercise earphones I've ever used

    • Written by from Austin

Standard buds do not fit me properly and either fall out or do not seal properly to allow a good sound. It's annoying to be constantly trying to adjust them while running. I have no such problem with the yurbuds. I've run for up to four hours without having to touch them.

I use the Ironman Series with ear loops and could not be happier. They've not shorted out because of sweating or moisture like all others that I've used. I just bought a second pair to use while I ride my motorcycle.

Couldn't be happier with the product.

    Great fit

    • Written by from harrison

I feel like I have searched far and wide for ear buds that will stay in my ears while jogging. These are the best fitting ear buds I have found to date and I will probably purchase them again if they ever break down. The sound quality is satisfactory for me considering I knew their purpose. If you are begging for the better sound quality, then you can put the ear pieces on the apple ear buds. I like how the company is willing to make you custom fittings if the 2 pairs that come with the head phones do not fit. I highly recommend these to anyone who is an athlete and wants buds that do not fall out.
I also don't have any uncomfortable feelings or pain after wearing them for an extended period.

    not comfy

    • Written by from Orlando

I rarely put up reviews but unfortunately I am compelled to do so in this case. I did my research on these earbuds before buying but I am disappointed. I wish I could have opened the box because I would have seen right away that the buds are too big for my ear. I will send away for a smaller covering to see if that helps but with the earbud being uncomfortable I doubt a new covering will work. Hope others have better luck with this product.

    YurBuds-Yur Not Worth It

    • Written by from Nashville

I have now been through three pairs of these in less than four months. I have used each pair on a different devise and it is the same, the volume and song control device goes out after less than 30 days. Either the volume sticks and cant be changed or the song will randomly stop and start again. I dont workout outside, have never got them wet and have even tried to wipe the sweat off during the workout, the result is the same. They are good for about three weeks then its the same tune. I wont bother with this brand again.

    Overrated.

    • Written by from Morris

Have gone through three pairs of these. Every one has malfunctioned. Yurbuds used to send you a new pair, now you have to send in headphones and wait for the replacement. A company that has a motto of 'by athletes for athletes.' Contradicts having to workout with no headphones for a week. Most recent pair would cut in and out on the first use. Button control failed to work in less than a month. The malfunctions are just as distracting as headphones falling out, which they do. When cycling, the wind is substantially louder in the ear with the headphone, they are not wind friendly.

    Great for exercise

    • Written by from Port Saint Lucie

These earphones are great for running and working out. They stay securely inside my ear and do not fall out. The mic and inline remote controls work extremely well and people can hear my voice clearly during calls. You must, however, be careful to put the yurbuds inside your ear using the correct way. The twist lock technology is what really gives it the secure fit.

    Pros and Cons

    • Written by from Claremore

The fit was good. As was written by another reviewer, if you aren't focused on something else you may start to feel irritation after wearing them fro a while. In response to people complaining about the sizes offered, the company does have additional sizes available for no extra charge if you contact them (instructions for process are included in the box). My favorite part is that they really do stay put once they are put in. My least favorite part is that I experience a lot of wind noise with the slightest breeze.

OK sound. Stay in ear. BUT....

    • Written by from Elizabethtown

I've had these for about a year. They do sound OK (about the same as the Apple earbuds). And they do stay in your ear very securely (unlike the Apple ones).
Unfortunately, the red rubber attachments that secure the earbuds in your ear will work their way loose and fall off easily after some use.
Finally gave up on them after the 3th round of replacement red rubber earpiece attachments got lost. After a while, if you work out, the aforementioned rubber pieces become slick with sweat, slip off and and eventually disappear. The first time it happened, the company sent me another pair gratis. The next time, I had to pay $14 for a new pair. After the next time, I gave up. Would not recommend.

I saw these at a running convention and tried them out but decided not to buy them. Later that week I found myself running with normal headphones and they kept falling out, so I decided to try these out. They turned out to be the best headphones for running

Durability Problems - last 3 months tops.

    • Written by from Bristol

These do stay in your ear well (even when jumping rope), so I stuck with them, but I went thru 3 sets, as they all develop a "short" in the cable where the cable connects to the ipod plug. Very frustrating as they sound better than the standard ear buds but just are not durable enough under normal conditions.

    Works Well!

    • Written by from Washington

This headphones are great for a workout but that a no brainer. These are not audiophile headphones; when played really loudly the distortion is clear. Nevertheless these are the most durable headphones ever. I have washed them twice (i am very absent minded about where I place things) and they work just as well as they did out of the box. These are not for someone who wants clarity in their music for everyday commuting because when your not focused on something else they tend to hurt the inside of your ear. Five out of Five for this product because it does what it was designed to do.

    UNCOMFORTABLE

    • Written by from Austin

I purchased these to add to my collection of different headphones. The concept is great, however for my ears the fit was completely uncomfortable. I tried both the small and large size. After about 4 minutes, I could feel the stingy pain of the uncomfortable fit in my ear. Plus, i like my cord to go behind head and with the Y control piece, doesn't work well for my preferences.

    My Experience!!

    • Written by from Nepean

I bought these sport earbuds and tried the smaller set out of the two which were still too big for my ears. I could still hear people and other background noise while playing the music. The rubber bud would would detach easily from the actual ear peice themselves upon removal of the ears, so I found myself cautious of taking them out to avoid loosing them. Well one of my rubber pieces fell off while taking it out of my coat and lost it on the tube(the subway). I have resorted to the biggest of the two sizes now that I have only 3 buds. They are now way to big for my ears and so the buds fall off a lot more now so having to to do the swap. The mic is way to low for anyone to hold a conversation so I have to hold it which defeats the purpose of hands free head set. Even with the clip, it was becoming a nuisance when the cord was caught on things which resorted to the cord being tugged and detach from my shirt. Using the clip to hoist the mic had the two cords that go from ear to ear very unstylish with the look of extra cord coming out the top of your shirt. In my overall experience the price point for these is way to high for the quality provided. How do we resolve these issues?
