So, I love to cook but I have a little bit of a tendancy to sit on the couch, start watching Real Housewives and....forget that I put something in the oven. My boyfriend must have gotten sick of having burnt, dry chicken for dinner because he bought me an iGrill last weekend. It's AWESOME, all I have to do is insert the probe into the chicken, set the preset alarm and then I get to sit with a glass of wine and watch TV, what could be better?!? My iGrill app on my iPhone 5 just alerts me when the chicken is done to perfection. No more burnt chicken in this house ;)

I too have had some issues with the software, BUT when all is working this little piece of cooking hardware is indispensable. I once had a fire, my fault, in my smoker and burned one of the probe wires, making it useless. When I called to purchase a new one I was told that one would be in the mail right away, no charge. Now that is what I call fantastic service.

I bought this because I tend to forget I have something on the outside grill while I am preparing other things in the kitchen.
It works great. I set the desired temperature and it alarms to tell me it's ready.
I also use it while cooking in my regular oven. It is easy because of the long probe wires.

No problems so far, I have had it 1 year.

This device works so good that I use it all the time with my smoker/grill. It was easy to set up and get started. I have a competition BBQ team and we all use the iGrill devices. I can now concentrate more on other things surrounding my cooking than constantly using another device to check temps. Highly recommend this device to anyone that does outdoor cooking.

The iGrill does everything it says it will. We BBQ through the winter in Manitoba and don't really like having to run outside to check the food on the BBQ every few minutes. Now I can sit inside and wait until my iPhone says the food is done to perfection.

I use my igrill with my big green egg and I get perfect results, every time. I keep one probe in the meat and another to monitor the chamber. All from the comfort of my couch. Good stuff!

My wife got me the iGrill a couple of years ago and I used it immediately. I had used another remote thermometer before but always had a problem keeping in range. But with the Bluetooth capability in the iGrill, I've never had that problem. I can do other things around the house or lay by the pool and still get updates on my roast.

We made the mistake of purchasing a new oven without first making sure that it included an automatic temperature probe. Trying to rectify this, I bought several different brands of probe thermometers, none of which helped when I was in my office or entertaining company while a roast was working in the oven. The iGrill sends temperature data and a ready alarm to the iPhone in my pocket, no matter where I am in the house. That really helps.

I was very impressed with how simple the iGrill was to use. The app I used was easy to setup and I liked how you could monitor your entire cook on the graph. I also liked that I could set alarms to notify me if my smoker went above or below the temps I set and when the meat had reached its proper internal temperature. The iGrill is capable of tracking temperatures up to 400°F. I noticed on the box the iGrill came in that it’s American Made, so that was a big plus for me. Another great thing about the iGrill is that it works whether you pair it with your device or not. Just set your desired temperature and iGrill will beep when your food is ready. Love this Cooking Thermometer!
