Dropped my iPhone 4S on the street a day after I got it. Thank god for Mophie! Protected the device from shock and me from a panic attack!

    Doesn't Sync with iTunes

Using new iPhone 4s 64gb and it doesn't sync with iTunes when plugged in through the case like it says it does. Battery life isn't bad but for 80$ and advertised to work with 4s I am expecting it to work

At first I was worried about it being too bulky and was a skeptic about it's features. Bought it and Love it!

I had the Mophie Juice Pack Air for my iPod Touch. I immediately went to get the Mophie for my iPhone 4. I absolutely love the look and feel of this case!

I was expecting for the case to give the phone a full charge. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't getting a full charge. Then, I realized if I turned the case on around 30%, I would get an almost full charge.

In conclusion, I really, REALLY like this case. It is by far the best looking charging case for the iPhone 4 out there. It's way past the competition in terms of aesthetics and functionality.

    Not charging

I bought this juice pack just 14 days ago. A couple of days ago I noticed my phone was dead even though it was plugged into my iMac usb. I figured ok I must have done something wrong. Now today I plugged it in and noticed that it is not charging at all via the cable plugged into the juice pack. Today my return expires I just called the apple store and even though I can"t get there at the twelfth hour I was told bring it in tomorrow for a replacement. After reading one review here it may seem that the charge pins broke or something like that. I will give a second pack a try because this pack did work well when it worked.

I had the Mophie Air for my 3GS and it slid on and off easily. Not so with this one though. It is easy to put on but difficult to get off. You wonder if you're going to break something in the process of removing it.

If one would leave it on and sync through their PROPRIETARY cable I guess it is ok, but I noticed sitting in the same spot the AT&T reception is worse with it on. I don't recommend

    third times a charm

I am currently on my third replacement mophie now. Why you ask? The charge port for all these iphone 4 mophie chargers breaks if you try to move the phone while it's charging. The connector is just way too flimsy. If they fix that then the charger would be perfect. I am in no way rough with my phone but the design of the charge port is horrendous. As long as you don't move your phone while it is charging you will be fine. To be honest I still use it (the third one) but I cannot disturb its meditative charging process or it will banish me to the land of no charge.

even though it charges my iPhone up to 80% it is extremelly difficult to take the phone out of the "case"- specially if you're a woman and want to keep your nails pretty :)
The previous model (3Gs) worked better in that way.

Does what it's advertised to do!

I purchased the juice pack air because I wanted more battery time. I always use a cover on my iPhone, so I thought I'd give it a try.

HOW IT WORKS: The Juice Pack battery is used first when the switch is flipped so you can see the green mark. If you want to use the iPhone battery first and save the Juice Pack battery as back up, flip the switch so you can see the red mark. When your phone battery runs down, flip the switch to see the green mark and the juice pack takes over.

Charging and syncing takes place without removing the Juice Pack. Use the provided USB cable and leave the switch in the "green position".

My internal battery is being used by the time i get home in the evening. The Juice Pack gets me through the day and my internal battery completes the evening. I have plenty of battery power left (about 3/4) left at the end of the day. Not too bulky for what it does! Sleek and protective.

Was this useful? Does what it's advertised to do!

    Traveler

I purchased the Mophie due to the fact I travel 4-5 days a week and need a portable power source for the iPhone4. My first trip with the Mophie was this week and it was fully charged on Sunday. Very excited because I thought this could be very good product/fit. Monday, the charge didn't hold any more than 20 minutes while on my drive from the airport to the office. I thought it was my fault so I charged it on Tuesday for most of the day. I had four lights on the battery. Again, the charge was no longer than 20 minutes. I called Apple Support they are shipping me a new one. Previously, I have purchased Portable mobile chargers from Amazon & Target for $50-60 less than this product. These have worked well other than the bulkiness of the extra pack on the phone but charges will get at least 90% from 20% in a short time. I’m unsure if I got a defective one or not. I will change the rating if the replacement works as advertised

    Broke within 3 weeks

I bought this and instantly fell in love. Not only did this case protect most of my phone; it felt great and wasn't terrible so far as looks go either. It was great with the battery life as well and it definitely is not overrated. I had no problems with until about 3 weeks in when suddenly it wouldn't charge. I tried different chargers and different outlets and nothing would bring my Mophie back to life. All in all I'm sure I got the defective one but Mophie and Apple wouldn't give me a new one. The one bad thing about all the Juice Pack Airs' is that they don't allow you to sync and charge at the same time. The only one that lets you do that is the Juice Pack Pro which is about $20 more. I just picked one up so hopefully it works out this time.

I have been using mine for several months now, and it works beautifully.

I have only two complaints / regrets. The first is that the Juice Pack requires using a MicroUSB rather than Apple's proprietary cable; the second is that it is such an exact fit (a good quality, don't get me wrong), that putting on a screen cover is difficult.

These two niggling complaints notwithstanding, I am very pleased with the Juice Pack.

i loved mine i got a blue one and haven't taken it off my iphone since i got it. It works beautifly and it almost charges your whole battery (it charges about 95% of your battery). it also looks really good.one bittersweet side of the case is the bulky-ness of the case, it like it but i doesnt fit in my pant pockets no more..... :/ but otherwise i droped it a couple times and nothin but the case got a little scratch on the back but otherwise.....
    I LOVE IT!!!

This works as it should. It recharges my phone up to 80% so more time for games, pandora and calls.

Only con after a while the USB cable will break. If your careful it won't but if not find a universial USB cable, like the ones most android phones use.

Tested for weeks with portable solar panel

Purchased for the normal reason, more battery time for video, netflix, hulu, etc or if i forgot to charge it. When i first took it out of the package i was concerned it would break apart to easily. After many months of use it has never been an issue. Then it got dropped and i again was surprised it stayed together. The unit charges great and uses the common usb charge syn cable (small usb). Took it on a 2 week remote camping trip and charged it with a small portable sunlinq solar panel. The battery allows for the higher power required to charge the iphone. So my findings are. 1) it looks a little flimsy but will do its job unless your careless. 2) The ability to use the usb connections is great, dont have to find an oversized apple adapter cable. 3) If you need a way to charge your phone with solar power its perfect and light weight for the backpack. The ability to turn on and off the charging with the toggle makes it the best choice i have found.

The mophie Juice Pack is absolutely perfect for when you are no where near a power source for quite some time to charge your iPhone. It charges my nearly drained iPhone up to 79%. Slightly bulky design, although very durable for protection. Only gripe would be, why not have the mophie charge the battery up to 100%, as if it were another full battery? Certainly would recommend the product to anyone who uses their iPhone a lot and sometimes have long periods of time without being able to recharge through a power source.

I used the Juice Pack (JP) as my travel "lifesaver" for the past 7 months. Up until this week it served every need as expected and more. I dropped my iPhone 4 for the first time on a trip this July 11'. The JP hit on the corner that the power cord gets inserted into, still leaving the phone in perfect condition...but the impact killed the the power port. Looking at the JP it still looks like it's in mint condition until you attempt to charge it and realize the port closed from impact and very careful attempts to pry it open failed. Though it no longer can be used as a charger, it certainly protects the phone.
