Reviews for Mophie Juice Pack Air for iPhone 4S

I travel quite a bit for work, and it's always nice to have a portable charging solution that's easy to use on the move without much fuss. This is it; it works fine, has very readable lights to let me know where the power level is, and I can charge it with any micro-USB cable, something I carry with me anyway, so no extra stuff.

The only thing keeping it from five stars for me is I think it's a little expensive.

Product is great, it does exactly what I need it to do, let me use my phone all day. The only downside, if any, is that it uses the micro usb instead of apples plug-in style. Definitely gets the job done. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends. Great for anyone needing longer battery life especially at the office or while traveling.

I just dropped my phone today at waist height indoors in a hospital lobby with the phone in this case, and my screen is cracked into many pieces. It offers no protection. Do not buy. Also it looks like the rim is made of metal but it is not, just cheap plastic. And the microUSB port is flimsy. There are plenty of other battery cases out there to consider, just not this one.

When I first got this case, I was in love. The rechargeable battery idea is great for a person on their phone 24/7 like me. However, the usb charging port broker after only 2 weeks. After reading other people's reviews this has happened to almost EVERYONE. I would not recommend this product for this price. For $80.00 I expect a quality product.

The case does exactly as advertised and looks great with a matt screened iPhone... however the only issue I have had since purchase is removal of the phone, it is frightening to see that there is now a slight bend in the side of my $90 case. I didn't do anything strange or abnormal with it just removed the phone once (which was rather difficult) to the instructions given and when I put the phone back in there was that bend! :O

Great battery life though, looks fantastic and feels soft in your hand.

Piece of junk. Only worked for about one month. I kept carrying the stupid thing around thinking it was my fault that it was not charging. Now, 6 months later, I finally research it and see that it simply stopped working. Real nice.

Purchased mophie juice pack 1500mAh and external battery stopped working after 10 days. Got a replacement and that lasted 3 weeks. I don't know if there is a difference between 1500mAh and 2000mAh capacity. Zero stars

Overall it's a great product. It offers a great battery backup for the phone, but every two months the charging port breaks off INSIDE the device and I have to keep shipping it back for a replacement. It's getting a little annoying because it's not something that I'm doing wrong and it's costing about 8 bucks each time I have to ship it back. I'm on the fourth one now in six months. Each time they keep replacing the device but it's already cost me about $25 in shipping charges to send the things back.

Until mophie makes the charging port more secure inside the device, this rating will be 1 star.

After 3 month of intense use of the case one day i found out that the charging mico usb port is broked. Ok no problem i have asked mophie where i can find a replacement cap, they asked for the receipt and photo of the boken mico usb and 5 days later mophie send me a brand new case. Short story Mophie really loves his customers.

Great case for extended battery life on iPhone 4s (when it's working, I rate at 4 stars), but as has been mentioned ALOT.. the mini USB plug is extremely delicate.
Mine came loose within 2 months from normal usage and will no longer connect to charge.
I contacted Mophie about replacement, waiting for an answer.
Problem really needs to be addressed.
If the battery case used a standard iPhone interface on the bottom I am sure it would be much more durable.
